Use the Gorishi Queen Lure from your inventory on the Silithid Crystal inside the caverns to lure the queen.

I certainly didn't expect the multiple waves of mobs before the queen appeared. I ended up dying after fending off the first 6 or so that attacked me and then spotted the queen shortly before my death. I used reincarnation (Level 53 Shaman), popped a health potion and barely got the queen killed. I looted her, died, resurrected at the graveyard and turned in the quest.

What a PITA.

I was in a party and the other person used theirs. After turning in the quest the lure stayed in my bags.

if you're using cabonite, the coords are a bit off. you have to stand on the mound itself to get the sample, not where it says the target is. pick up 'alien ecology' and finish that off at the same time. strange thing tho. i tried this quest a couple levels ago (undead 'lock with a v w) and got splatted before i killed the queen. it didn't say i'd failed the quest but the lure was gone so when i came back at level 58 it was basically a low-level gind for not very much return. at least i got to remember where the queen was so it was pretty quick on my return trip. ~is bad at following maps!~ queen is at 44, 81
