Note that to get the set bonus you must be a 300 Tailor - otherwise you only get the stats on the items themselves.

Though Blue, this set was itemized well enough that it remained BiS through Blackwing Lair for Warlocks and Mages, and would often remain equipped until they collected items of https://vanillawowdb.com/?itemset=499"">(Item Set #499) and https://vanillawowdb.com/?itemset=503"">(Item Set #503) respectively. A three-set that provided 4% hit and (with 300 Tailoring) 2% crit was pretty unheard of back in the day. The only downside to having this for Locks was running around with Mage HP (pre-Cata, there was absolutely no Stamina on this set).
