If you /love this critter, it adds towards one of the new Wrath of the Lich King Achievements called ""To all the squirrels I've loved before"".

The full list of critters you have to /love is

If you are trying to find a Swine for the https://vanillawowdb.com/?achievement=1206 achievement , look for those little farms. They don't usually just wander on open fields.

There is a Farm at 53, 20 that has its corral full of swines for the achievement.

I found my Swine in Shatt. There was a farmer across the way from the daily cooking quest that had a couple swine around him.

I've been trying to do this part of the achievement on my shammy for the past couple of days. (Before maintenance and after). I've noticed the farms are empty and there's no Hare's around either. In fact, there's no critters in Durotar :

Maybe something to do with max npc limits. ie. The amount of NPC's outside Orgrimmar atm for Midsummer Fire Festival. Or my wow is messing up. Weird.....So anyone else having any trouble atm?

Ended up finding a Swine at Grol'dom Farm west of Far Watch Post in The Barrens. Now wtf did blizzard put the Hares....

Found a pen with some in it at 42 X 21.

Basicly on the west side of the gold road, roughly halfway from the Rampart to the plain

Usefully named Jaggedswine Farm right outside Orgrimmar 48,17. (As usual, only literal ""swine"" will do it, not the mature ones.)

For those Alliance members who are nuked down by Guards or Horde Characters before ever clicking on and loving a swine outside Orgrimmar, try this macro:

/tar swine
/love

I am sure more sophisticated macros can be thought of to mock the Horde right afterwards to commemorate the completion of the achievement... :-)

Being able to fly in Azeroth now makes this much easier once you get it. Stay hovering away from the guards and just do a /tar Swine, then /love.

Swine are located in the Northern Barrens just south of the Mor'shan Rampart in a pen at a small farm on the Gold Road between Ashenvale and The Crossroads. (42.8 : 21.3)

It took me almost 15 minutes to find the SWINES.. They are located at 41.21 on gold rd. at the end of northern barrens. right AFTER THE TREE LINE...before you get to Ashenvale .. it's the farm on the left there are 2 pens full of them...
