Unlike most wildlife, this one can be skinned, so it's a good way for low level leatherworkers to raise their skill without having to fight difficult enemies.

I've also found a few in an area on the East coast of Arathi Highlands (92.7, 67.5). This can be reached by going South along the coast from Revantusk Village in the Hinterlands.

Very easy way to get this (if you are Alliance, or if you are on the Orgrimmar or Battle in Undercity quest from Dragonblight) for Shamans:

1. Go to Arathi Highlands, north of Witherbark Village (troll village to the south-east, roughly 70,60)
2. Use https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=6196"">Far Sight on the mountains and travel towards the east.
3. Once you read the water, look around for a small place with some buildings and a harvest field.
4. When you have found it simply /tar Hare then /love. Even if you are far away, you still get the credit!

CONFIRMED. If Durotar seems to have no critters in it, it's either a game bug or the area is ""phased"" due to a quest or raid going on.

If this happens to you, go to the Hinterlands and head east to Revantusk village.

From the village, swim/walk south along the coastline until you reach Arathi Highlands.

On the shore, with it's back literally to the cliff walls, you will find a small, unnamed village with a dwarf or two wandering around.

/target Hare while walking around the fields and you will be ready for some /love.
