No longer skinabble, GM said they should be but I get the feeling it's a patch change they just hadn't informed the GMs of yet.

As of 4.0.3a, they appear to have gone commando on the border of Mulgore and Stonetalon (on a small plateau at the top of the pass).

Occasionally the occupants (prairie dogs, mice and rabbits) of this little area will enlarge and don weapons/armor. Submitting a screenshot of the little blood sucker with an axe in his mouth.

If you havent seen them, the rodent wars in the northwest corner of Mulgore are worth the trip. Perhaps the most outlandish easter egg yet, the Prairie Dogs, Rabbits, and Mice in the area periodically grow larger than Gnomes, take up weapons and kill their rivals.

The Prairie Dogs don helmets and daggers. The Rabbits brandish battle axes, and the Mice dual-wield shotguns. If you get there and dont see anything, be patient. You'll soon be rewarded!

Possibly a Princess Bride R.O.U.S. (Rodents Of unusual Size) reference?

The location is on the mountain above Stonetalon Pass in the northwest corner.
Also, these guys are tameable with Critter Bites, even when they're enlarged. If you use fears or taunts on them, they will proceed to try and kill you with their weapon.

Not sure if anyone else is doing To All The Squirrels I've Loved Before, but; the Rabbit does, in fact, still exist in World of Warcraft in 5.3.

Found one wondering around Mage Quarter (52,80).
