When you accept the Kernobee escort quest, this little guy comes along as well. Well, at least he did for me. Don't know if it was a glitch or he's supposed to.

Many people seem to have this confused with the https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=7849 Moble Alert Systems found in the same instance.
This does not patrol around the instance. This does not summon adds. This is not killable. This does not aggro you and let off a yell.
This spawns and runs about the area where you get the quest https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=2904 A Fine Mess . It follows https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=7850 Kernobee while you escort him and will explode if you do not complete the escort on time. It also deactivates at the end of the escort should you succeed.
This does not patrol around the instance. This does not summon adds. This is not killable. This does not aggro you and let off a yell.
