Pretty easy quest. He is the end boss for this instance, just kill him and everyone who has the quest can take his head.

There is an easy way to kill Arugal. Tag him and run back to the main chamber, where you killed Fenrus. The person who has aggro stays in the Fenrus room. Everyone else goes to Arugal's room. What will happen is Arugal charges towards the Fenrus room and then whacks one or two times (at most, sometimes none at all) and teleports back to his main room. This allows the other members of the group to smack Arugal around until his aggro changes to someone else. This new person can then go to Fenrus' room and repeat as before. Everytime he teleports, he'll erase any dots on him, but he will not reset his health (as of 4/3/06). This most likely will be patched, however.

A few other tips. Do not go into the room to kill Fenrus. Kill him in the hallway. Have the tank stand in the hallway to attract the mobs that spawn afterwards. If you kill a named, sometimes a new wolf-man spawns in a place that you may have cleared. For example, when you kill the Baron, a wearwolf spawns in the room adjacent to the courtyard and adjacent to the Baron's room. This can complicate pulling, so go back and kill this. The tricky pull spot is the Knight's room (up the stairs past the Baron's room). Here is a way to pull this room. Have a warlock cast Eye of Kelrog and have a priest cast the spell-shield on it. The eye can get aggro, but the mobs ignore it unless it gets too close. As a result, you can pull fewer mobs and sometimes even singles from clusters of mobs. (This works in general.) In the Knight's room, have the tank grab the ghost in the hallway. Then send the eye all the way to the right (upon entering) and grab the attention of the Knight's in the back (the side opposite of the named mob). You can clear the room in this way so that when you pull the named you only get 2 adds. Of course, you can also just send in the puller.

All in all this is a challenge. Did this with 4 26s. (Mage, Warlock, Warrior, Priest.)

As Obaa, said above, it requires level 18 to take the quests, but also, it is NOT part of the Arugal's Folly quest chain, so if you are interested in making a twink character with the Seal of Sylvanas, you don't have to go through the chain getting a lot of exp.

this is a good last minute quest for any Horde 19 twinks. +8stam is never a bad thing, and you can pair this up with the WSG ring for pwnage.

Ok, I have killed him several times without fail with my own strat.

Get your casters up on the balcony or at least your healer((the balcony on the right when you are coming into the room)) This of course AFTER you clear the room. Have your tank run up and start building up arggo *yay tank!* When/If a caster or someone squishy pulls the threat off the tank and he is casting his bolt... You don't need to leave the room, don't really need to go anywhere then the room you are in. There is an out of los spot on the stairs, the corners, and back and forth. getting out of LoS cause him to stop casting his nuke that can easily blast a clothy for 200-300 dmg(>.> Wearing level 10 gear clothy, maybe with more resistance its lower) and makes him run to get said los back, this gives the tank or someone capable of ripping threat off the clothy time to do their job. When I tanked, even though it !@#$ed the healer off, I had me and a rogue jumping out of Los often just long enough to make him pause his casting, letting the rogue dps him up popping out to rebuild my threat and toss a taunt, mocking blow, or other ""lookatme"" skill and he went down in about a minute with minimum damage taken on our part and maybe only one slip up where he poofed onto the balcony and wasted the mage(sorry mage!)

Quests that give 500 or a large amount of rep for one faction, and then a lesser amount for all other factions, tend to show only the large rep gain in the combat log, and not the other lesser ones.

This made me think Bliz had nerfed the rep gain and was only giving it to the quest's main faction now, but I did a few tests and observed you still get the rep gain to the other factions, it's just not reported in the log.

Easy quest but make sure you don't do this solo as no matter how easy he may be, he'll always have his health reset. I got lucky 2 times and didn't get turned but right when he's close to death he casts the rage spell and pop goes his health.

As long as your group doesn't suck it should be simple. He does hit pretty hard so be careful of that.

Soloed as 40 Rogue. Not easy even as 40. Once you find him - just keep winding your way along the only choices given you from courtyard on up thru many rooms, and as others have pointed out, you must kill voidwalkers and fenrus to get doors to open - watch out for him jumping across the room to throw bolts at you. You either need a friend over by door where you entered room (and he jumps to) or you must have thrown/ranged weapon and use immediately. Good luck.
