I can't believe that Anilia is gone... We used to play together in the forests all the time. I almost feel... sad.

I know something that might make me feel better. Please, slay the satyrs that took Anilia from me! Bring me their horns as proof of your actions and you will forever have my gratitude.

After the latest patch, Illiyana is no longer located at the Shrine of Aessina. She can be found near the Draenei at Forest Song.

As mentioned, Satyrs at Xavian will heal themselves to full if they are not interrupted in some way. The mobs there also range in level from 28-30.

Satyrs at Satyrnaar will frequently cast curse of the Bleakheart on you (https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=6946 https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=6946). This curse is a pain in the ass due to the occasional stun, which always seems to proc when you get an add on you.

The ideal Stayrs to grind on to complete this quest are found in Night Run, just east of Raynewood Retreat. The mobs here range in level from 25-27 and respawn quickly. Their only special ability is a short duration silence.

If for no other reason this quest is good for the xp, because even if it is a low drop rate, you are killing massive amounts of mobs, and the point of the quest is for xp anyway, so i personally enjoy the quest.

P.S. Night Run is by far the best place for this quest due to the very simple racial (brief silence) in comparison to Satyrnaar and Xavian.

I used to remember the drop rate being brutally low, but it looks like that since patch 2.3, the drop rate has been improved.

I went 0 for 6 at Xayvian before I moved over to Night Run.

At Night Run I got 16 horns in 49 kills = ~33%.

Do yourself a favour and go to Night Run to complete this quest.

78 -- 46 is the cords and its a hard quest for any lev 30 or under recomend team play not every monster drops you could have to kill 50 of them to get 16 horns

Didn't try night run, but I managed to get all 16 after about 4 wipeouts of Xavian. Good for XP. A level 32 hunter plus lvl 30 pet can easily kill em all.

Managed to get great XP from this, but the drop rate was rediculously low. It took almost two hours of nonstop grinding. It wasn't a problem for a Lv. 31 hunter and pet it was just very time consuming.

As of patch 3.0.2 the drop rate is around 35-40%, and it's possible to get 16 horns in one wipeout of Xavian. Also the 100% heal they do has a cast time long enough for a rogue to bring them down before they finish casting.

100% drop rate in Satyrnaar. Also, after doing 3 quests there, I was never hit with the ""Bleakheart"" curse. Perhaps it has been removed. In any case, I would suggest this location out of all 3. Not to mention it is the closest and the hellcallers here do not cast fireballs.

I got all mine at Xavian, but I really wanted the XP. I only died once, but a nice level 80 was running by and rezzed me. Haha.

It wasn't that hard, really. They didn't heal themselves much at all, honestly, I only got one that healed himself and he only did it to about half health.

All in all not a bad quest...and if you want the XP, go to Xavian :)

Found all of mine in Night Run, combining with one of the parts of https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=1140 this quest. Dropped by https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=3762 Felmusk Felsworn, https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=3763 Felmusk Shadowstalker, and https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=3759 Felmusk Rogues. Be aware they all cast a https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=6942 debuff on you that prevents you from casting spells, which was very annoying. But even so, not a difficult area to clear as a level 34 NE Druid. Drop rate was rather poor, so had to clear the area twice to get all 16, but their pats are so limited that it was easy to pull them one at a time.

Just go to Satyrnaar! I got 16/16, aka 100% drop rate.
