Description

I love crab. Crabs are the fruit of the sea! You can bake it, barbecue it, boil it, and broil it. They're pan fried, deep fried, and stir fried. There's crab salad, crab soup, crab stew, pepper crab, lemon crab, whipper root crab, and Ironforge surprise crab. That's... that's about it.

I'm here fishing right now, so I can't get any fine crab chunks. You can pick them out of reef crawlers and encrusted tide crawlers. You can make a lot with it. You can bake it, barbecue it, boil it...

You can found those ""Reef Crawlers"" at 45.20 (for my friends with coords), and for those without coords it's under the bridge, when you head to ""Ruins of Mathystra"" . I hope this will be helpfull to you friends. Have fun....cya in wow ! ;)

These can also be found off of the ""Encrusted Reef Crawlers"" and possibly the ""Raging Reef Crawlers"".. However those are a bit higher lvl (16+). I died on one of the encrusted ones because I wasnt paying attention to their level. If you want to fight those they are further east from the normal Reef crawlers, Loc is 53, 18 and further to the east. Hope this helps!

Good locations for the Reef Crawlers is [49,21] they should be levels 15-17. Also while you're there you can venture just a little to the west at pick up https://vanillawowdb.com/?object=176190 Beached Sea Turtle quest at [44,21]. They turtle body has a few mobs from 14-16 in level around it, they shouldn't be a problem.

I dont know if its just me, but the drop rate of the crab chunks seems to be terrible. This quest took me ~1 hour... Yet wowhead says the droprate isnt that bad.

Encrusted Tide Crawlers have a better drop rate than the Reef Crawlers. Found several at coords 33, 81. This is almost the most southern beach you can reach in Darkshore.

Definitely farm the Encrusted Tide Crawlers if you are high enough. (18 - 20) I did this as a 17 hunter. Much better drop rate. This quest took me about 5 - 10 minutes. There are plenty of them around 52.20.

Around 34,80 you can find several crabs. Droprate about 50%

Ok here is a tip. When you are on the beach head South Bound. There will be crabs that are lvl 10-13 ddont bother with those, you want to get the Blue crabs with the high lvl. Once you see these crabs then enjoy. I would say the drop rate for me was 70%

(You will start seeing these at the very bottom of the map on the beach, almost near the instance)

guys i can only find one crab that drops it n iv been waiting about 30 mins for it to respawn lmao! what other crabs drop the item?

As a lvl 15 hunter i found out that killing the Reef crawlers at around 47,20 ( very north coast for people without coords) have about a 35% drop rate. I highly suggest coming here if you are round lvl 15-17 and doing this quest
