Description

The Blackrock orcs enlisted shadowcasters to aid their attacks in Redridge, and they have brought with them devices of dark power--midnight orbs. These orbs have struck telling blows against Redridge's defenders, and it's imperative we remove the demon-tainted items from the conflict.

Find and deliver to me midnight orbs from slain Blackrock shadowcasters. I will then have them disposed of, for this world would be a better place without them!

When I did the quest my drop rate was also 100%.

I finished the quest easy. Rogue lvl 22. Stealth, use (Distraction,) Sap, Ambush and I was able to get out alive. It was 100% drop rate for me aswell. Kill the Shadowcaster first, then the non-sapped Orc and you should be fine.

this quest has a 100% drop rate, but i found that there were not many shadowcasters to kill, perhaps there are more inside the cave. This is at 34, 7 roughly, so i would avoid this zone that qh tells you to go to

This is a relatively easy quest, you have to kill three Blackrock Shadowcasters, https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=436 https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=436, each of which have a 100% chance to drop the quest item,a midnight orb; https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=1261 https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=1261.

Also note: You have to kill several other level 20-22s surrounding the castle to actually get to the Shadowcasters.
