Yes it gives low xp and no rep, and had to kill about 20 harvest watchers to get 5 of them. But u need the reward for the quest Dry Times. Best place to find hops is the Alexston Farmstead in western Westfall, the Harvest Watchers there drop them.

At 46.8, 73.7 you can find a winding path to the mountains that takes you next to Grimbooze. You don't need to go through that many bandits this way.

For those without coordinates, you go to the crossing just before Moonbrook and go south until you get to the mountains.

hops can be farmed by a higher level character since they dont bound.

all harvest robots in westfall drop the hops as it seems.

imo you should go to saldeans farm since just a lil north stands another farm, many harvesters are at those places

The quest itself does NOT count towards Loremaster of E. K.

However, this is a part of the quest Dry Times which will count towards the achievement.

Please note that Add-ons (Such as EveryQuest) and the Wowhead Profiler do not count this quest as completed even if you have done it. This is because it is one of the ~Pick up and hand in with one click~ style quests, or one of the special repeatables which are scattered around the world which don't actually seem to treat themselves as real repeatables. Even if you query the blizzard servers for your completed quests, this quest registers as incomplete.

Maybe this will change in future, but is valid as of the posting date.

Out of curiosity I brought my level 1 twink to do this quest. While he could complete the quest, it did not grant even the 1 Ironforge rep stated on Wowhead at the time of this posting. Also, when I tried to drink the quest reward it stated ""Target is too low level.""
