Return a Filled Etched Phial to Zangen Stonehoof in Thunder Bluff.

Description

The Galak centaur in the Thousand Needles are protecting an artifact from the time of the centaurs' creation.

We would like to retrieve it, but we require a phial of water from one of the night elves' moonwells.

To collect the water, you will first need to obtain one of the phials carried by the dryads near the Raynewood Retreat in the heart of Ashenvale Forest. There is a moonwell near the western bank of the Falfarren River, south of the main road, where you can fill the phial.

Progress

Once we have the filled phial, we can send it along to my associate, Rau, in the Thousand Needles. He was the one who requested the phial of water, so he'll better know how we can make use of it.

Completion

Very good. This should fill Rau's request just fine. Could you deliver this to him? You might enjoy spending some time out in the Needles.

Gains

You need to retrive an Ecthed Phial from the Laughing Sister's at Loc 61,51 first. Then go to Moonwell as directed above.

Both seem to work equally well. The one to use (especially on a PvP server) is the one at 60,73 - no Alliance sitting around being Alliance and generally annoying.

OK these notes weren't that clear to me (perhaps I was having a blonde day). Go to 61,51 in Ashenvale and kill Laughing Sisters until the phial drops. Then go to the moonwell at 60,73 and fill it.

There is a path leading to the Moon well, the path has several level 24-26 mobs along it. just follow the road out of the Raynewood retreat after receiving the phial and at the split follow it towards the river until you see a partial path.

An easy way to get to the Moonwell after you've got the Phial is to simply take the road back towards Splintetree Outpost. Once you get to the river, stop, and head south, the Moonwell will be very close to the river on your right.

1. Kill the Laughing Sisters at 60, 55 for the Etched Phial.

2. Go to the moonwell at 60, 72 and fill it.

3. Return to Zangen Stonehoof in Thunderbluff.
