These will either drop off of Murloc to the east of Lakeshire or you can fish them if you have the time and skill...Easy quest...

Nice murloc camp at 40,44. Shouldn't take too long there.

Very nice Murloc Camp at 47,73. It's along the road you take to do alot of other quests, like Assesing the Threat (Redridge Mongrels/Poachers). Getting drops for the fish mainly off the Murloc Shorestrikers from here. Everything here has a chance to drop Murloc Fins, which is a quest called Murloc Poachers.

The murlocs at the 48,73 camp are a bit lower level than the ones at the 40,44 camp. My 16 Rogue [turned 17 during the quest] had some troubles [3-4 deaths] with the one up top, but the lower one was no problem.

EDIT: Go for the shorestrikers instead of the tidecallers... the tidecallers can use frost bolt and heal.

The Drop rate on these is terrible if your going to kill murlocs. Also murlocs are a pain the ass so its double hard.

Even though it is pretty much a fishing quest, this DOES count for Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms. Took me 36 casts to get all 10 fish.

Can be done in about 20 mins starting from Fishing level 1.

Buy a rod and a couple of nightcrawlers (fishing +50) from the fishing supply guy nearby. Fish until you hit level 50 (takes about 10 mins, you probably wont catch anything except junk). Learn journeyman fishing from the trainer there. Now use a nightcrawler on your rod and you will start to catch real fish. Should take take about another 10 mins to get the 10 quest fish.

If you want to fish them, you'll get them in 1 out of 4-6 go's. It takes a while, but it's a great way to get your fishing level higher.

RE: seanmichaelw and bready regarding levels of fishing needed to get the quest items from fishing:-

lvl 48 disc n.e priest.

I started out with no fishing skill and took the fishing skill at the wharf and bought the starter fishing pole and baubles attached.

I caught my first Spotted Sunfish at fishing skill 22, 2nd at 44, 3rd at 66, 4th at 70, 5th at 73,...

(at fishing level 75 I remembered to train after I had caught a tangled line, longjaw, Raw bristle and a sick fish and no skill leveling, so scratch one of those from the net catch I listed below)

I bought a strong fishing pole and nightcrawlers.

6th at 85, 7th was at 89, 8th was at 92, 10th was at 95.

Net catch:-

[Raw Bristle Whisker Catfish]x17, [Driftwood]x11, [Weeds]x18, [Raw Longjaw Mud

Snapper]x13, [Sickly Fish]x17, [Tattered Cloth]x10, [Tangled Fishing Line]x11 and one

[Old Boot].

So counting for the mild screwups I did, that's basically what was possible for the quest.

Hope that helps...
