Nothing But The Truth

Take Zraedus's Brew to Infiltrator Marksen in Stonard.
Zraedus's Brew
Provided Item:
Zraedus's Brew

Description

We need to operate with a certain amount of discretion. After all, it's not like you're going to waltz in there and convince the fool to drink Faustin's concoction here, right?

But if there's one thing those humans cannot deny it's the booze. I'll take Faustin's serum and mix it into this ale. I guarantee the poor sap will show no reluctance when it comes to chug-a-lugging a brew.

Make haste to Stonard in the Swamp of Sorrows, <name>. And keep our little mission nice and quiet...

Progress

Please have mercy on me! I have information that goes beyond alliance boundaries. While I am no sympathizer of the Horde, there is political treachery going on that must be revealed!

Completion

A drink for me? How kind. It's been days since they've allowed me to drink. Let me drink this down and then I'll tell you what I've learned....

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:
  • 255 experience (15 30 at max. level)
  • 150 Reputation with Undercity

You give the disguised serum to the Infiltrator in Stonard, he drinks it and starts to speak, and that's all folks. End of quest line, apparently.

He says ""I believe the Forsaken are misleading the allies of the Horde.... wait... I feel so... dizzy...""
He then turns undead and then dies. I thought it was a little strange to end like that, so I went back to the quest giver and they had nothing else to say.

He does indeed say ""I believe the Forsaken are misleading the allies of the Horde.... wait... I feel so... dizzy..."" Then he starts to rot and dies, This is because the 'truth serum' is actually just a poison, because the forsaken didn't want him telling anyone what he knew...

Yep, if it was up to the forsaken they would not be part of the horde as many of the forsaken were once humans who fought against the horde to begin with. But yes, not even the blood elves can trust them in the long run. Though likely more will be known when WotLK comes out.

Only the Apothecary is sadistic and want to destroy the World, go to Brill and half of the NPCs there want nothing but to be human again or vengeance to what happened to them in life.

Letter to Yvette is a good quest to explain humanity in the Forsaken while the Elixir quests in Hillsbrad show the Apothecary's thoughts.

Edit: Guess what else, the quest giver for this series is from &lt;Gasp&gt; The Apothecary!

This quest is a small taste of things to come years later, the apothecary society aligns them self with varimthias (and we assume the legion) and betrays sylvannas and the horde.
