Old Gerard Tiller gets awful thirsty doing farmwork all day, and has plenty of apples to give away. If you've got some spare Refreshing Spring Water, he's willing to trade it for a nice Shiny Red Apple.

Doing this at lvl 6 doesn't seem to give any rep. Haven't tried it at lvl 1.

This quest awards a grand total of ZERO reputation with EVERY faction.

I brought my Level 1 Warlock and 200 refreshing spring water to check if this worked (then I would buy the other 9540 water). I got no rep, and now I just have a ton of water on an alt that dances in Ironforge all day.

Theres an npc just on the other side of the farm that sells the water.....so i bought a stack of it and then did this quest. easier then running to goldshire.

Please note that Add-ons (Such as EveryQuest) and the Wowhead Profiler do not count this quest as completed even if you have done it. This is because it is one of the ~Pick up and hand in with one click~ style quests, or one of the special repeatables which are scattered around the world which don't actually seem to treat themselves as real repeatables. Even if you query the blizzard servers for your completed quests, this quest registers as incomplete.

Maybe this will change in future, but is valid as of the posting date.

Oh come on. You are giving a thirsty farmer some water in trade of a juicy apple and still looking for a rep, xp or anything else as benefit?

Where is the spirit? Need to store faith in hummanity. :)

This quest got removed shortly after 5.0.4. Players were abusing it's 30k guild experience reward (all quests reward this much) for quick guild leveling.

Actually, this quest was removed for a week since people exploited it to level up guilds fast and gain Exalted status with the guild. It was removed in 5.0.4 (or just unenable to accept) but it is avaible again in 5.0.5 :)
