Locate the Forsaken's Wickerman Festival in Tirisfal Glade. Return to Sergeant Hartman in Southshore once you've done so.

Description

I need brave individuals to head up to Tirisfal Glade and check out the Wickerman Festival. I'm not going to lie - heading up there will be dangerous. The guards at the festival will be exceptionally vicious. Still, we need to know how big the festival is this year, and how much trouble the Forsaken are going to cause us during Hallow's End.

If you're up for it, head to Tirisfal and scout out the festival. Return to me with the information, and I'll make sure you're well compensated.

Well done, <name>. The Wickerman Festival will continue to be trouble so long as the abominable Forsaken are allowed to haunt the remnants of Lordaeron. It is NOT a fitting tribute to that once proud kingdom, let me tell you...

It's just to the west of the Undercity, along the road. There's a giant statue thing made of hay. Run up to the statue, then run away.

When you go there watch out as there are 3 elite abomination guards that can and will one shot a lower level character. You also will have horde hanging out around the area. Use and talents you have to rush through the area as fast as possible. Those guards also make trips to the Scarlet Monastery a pain.

If you skirt around the Wickerman area, and go around the corner of the Lordaeron ruins, you can easily climb up onto the plateau the ruins are built on. You can then edge back to a point immediately overlooking the wickerman area, from where you can jump down directly to complete the quest - preferably jump down when someone else has agg'd the abominations that guard it :-)

(it's still worth stripping your gear off if you expect to get killed - saves on repair costs)

Easiest route, especially if you're too low for the Plaguelands, is to go north to Alterac Mountains (from Southshore), then west to Dalaran, and further west into the huge lake/ small sea with islands dotting it.

The mobs in Dalaran are level 31 or so, and the mobs in this lake are level 18 or thereabouts, which should give you no trouble. They're murlocs and treants staying on the islands, mostly; keeping to the water should not bring any mobs to bother you.

Once in the lake, head north and you will reach Undercity very quickly. Of course, don't go directly up/ into the city. Just follow the path towards Undercity, and you will see a gigantic burning scarecrow statue thing (56, 69) with 2 giant elite abominations on either side of it.

You will not be able to stealth successfully past them if you are 40 or lower. Your best bet is to zip up to the statue and die on top of it, so that you will at least have completed the quest.

My level 41 druid tried to stealth up to it though, by creeping along the wall, and was nearly at the statue when one of the abominations noticed. I basically ran right on top of the statue and managed to get the quest completed as I died.

This quest gave my druid (at 41) 12650 exp.

So, was on auto run trying to find this place and and alt tabbed out to check wowhead and i ran straight into the elite guards. When i came back to res a ret pally was soloing one of the statue guards. After he killed him, some ash dropped on the floor. If you use it, it gives you +10% experience and rep for 2 hours.

Please note, that if you have started but not completed the long quest line with https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=13377 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=13377 The Battle for the Undercity, you will be in a parallel undercity and NOT be able to see or find the WIckerman festival!

I just want to clarify: The statue IS NOT inside Undercity. My mistake, I did not read the comments well enough, and went inside. My poor priesty went ""Hahaha!"" /dead. Good luck everyone. (I ran BEHIND the statue towards the wall and didn't aggro the guards. Then again, I'm 80, so I don't know if that affected it much.)

If you are having trouble seeing the Wickerman statue it is probably because you've started the ""Battle for Undercity"" quest line and you are now phased out. You'll notice a message ""The Battle of Undercity"" on the top of your screen and you'll be unable to see NPCs/other players. Even if you've abandoned the quest you'll still be phased out, to resolve this you must complete the entire quest line (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=14656775735&amp;sid=1 blue post).

If you are in the midst of thee questline https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=13377 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=13377  you will phase out before you can see the statue. However if you stand where he is supposed to be and hearth out you will get quest completion upon materializing at the inn. Worked for me :D

Do the abominations aggro each other, I mean that if one is aggroed, do the others help him out?

And for the gold reward, my lvl 60 gets 90s for this, the same amount as for fighting fires.

It has been confirmed, if you get to the area where the flaming scarecrow is supposed to be and he isnt there, stand where he should be and then use your hearth. You will complete the quest that way. Now you just gotta go back to Southshore. Maybe set your hearth there before riding out to Undercity.

In my case I could see the statue from afar but when I was like 30-40 yards from it, it disappeared, every single time I tried.
I can confirm that using the heartstone in the place where the statue should be works.

Confirmed! Patch 4.0.1 56, 70 cords worked for my rogue. I saw the burning man from a distance but when i got to 56, 70 it was gone. I just hearth and it completed the quest. Thanks Fiologist that saved me a lot of time.

the HS trick DOES work, I stood where i saw the statue (that disapeared as soon as i got into trisfal map) waited a few, and hearthstoned, completed quest.

The Wickerman might not be there due to you being phased out. The reason for the phasing is the 'Battle for the Undercity' questline. To resolve this issue, you need to finish:

Been trying to complete this for 2 days now:-( None on the hints has helped me. Not even the Hearth......Any other suggestions?:-)
