Description

<name>, our scouts have identified the leader of this recent Trogg incursion. It appears that these beasts in Loch Modan are following the lead of a chieftain named Grawmug. Grawmug is heavily guarded, however. Two of his most elite guards, Gnasher and Brawler, never leave his side.

If you feel yourself worthy, <name>, I want you to lead the assassination mission on Grawmug and his two thugs. With the Trogg leadership dead, we just might stand a chance at pushing these beasts back into the ground.

Grawmug and his two guards, Gnasher and Brawler, are still alive. Your mission is not complete until all 3 have been brought to death. The Dwarven empire is counting on you, <name>.

Most excellent, <name>! You have brought hope to Loch Modan. With Grawmug dead, we stand a better chance of seeing the Troggs eliminated from the land.

I cant get this quest. I could only get the quest The Trogg Threat and when I turned it in I couldnt get the In defence of the King's Lands quest. Does anyone know what to do?

One thing nobody really tells you is where the room is in the cave. When you enter the cave it will turn to the left and then branch into 3 directions. Take the path on the right and you will see a small stream running off into a pool. Cross this stream and head just a little further forward and watch to your left and you will see a small room just before the path turns to the right. The 3 are all together in that room.

For you RPers out there, one of the quest rewards, the https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=6187"" class=""qundefined icontiny"" style=""background-image: url(images/icons/tiny/inv_shield_05.gif)"">Dwarven Defender, looks a lot like the shields the Ironforge guards carry. It's a different shape, but it carries the Ironforge crest.

One note that pertains to the valley you must pass through en route to the cave is to be REALLY careful of aggro from the various camps. Be ready to deal with 2-3 mobs (sometimes 4 if you are unlucky enough) - use cc if you have it!.
Unless I missed something, there is no way to avoid these valley mobs, even the areas betwen camps have mobs, and it is quite possible to draw aggro from 2 camps simultaneously. Err on the safe side. Commit to one camp, and methodically pull the mobs (generally 2-3 will respond when you make a pull).

Also, once you start heading up th path from the valley to the cave, watch out for roaming mobs. As a level 15 Frost mage (very difficult to deal with multiple mobs) I died once from overlooking this detail..... I was just managing to deal with 3 mobs - keeping one polymorphed while casting on the other two - when the roamer started hitting me from behind(wicked stun and silence move proved to be very frustrating). Alas, I learned that one the hard way.

The cave itself is very easy until you get to the 3 targets (the guards are level 16 and the main man is 17). You cannot pull any of these guys individually, so cc one and hope you can get the other two down low enough (or dead) by the time the other one comes back. The two guards each have the very disruptive stun, which is devistating to casters, to say the least. Melee classes will likely have no problems with this quest, but casters beware!

In the quest it says ""two of his most elite guards"" does that mean they are elite?

A warning to hunters... good luck finding these guys with humanoid tracking. The hills are right over Uldaman, so you'll pick up almost every mob down there. So many red dots makes it near impossible to track a certain mob.

As a lvl 16 frost mage this wasnt very hard.
I started at max range, kept shooting frost balls at his first guard, the guard died when they reached me.
Then I used Frost Nova on the two remaining mobs.
Polymorph on the second guard and proceeded to kill the ""boss"" and then the second guard.

solod as a lvl 18 rogue, just sneaked past all the mobs, they arrnt hard, killes all 3 @ same time no problem

just make sure they dont go running off and bring with em the surounding mobs, since tht can be quite alot of em, so make sure you own those first

For a feral druid getting lost in the cave, it is possible to Feral Charge - Cat up onto the platform where they stand from down below.
