Description

The emerald... It is missing! My dreamcatcher has been damaged!

There is a band of Gnarlpine mystics located to the north of Starbreeze. I have heard reports that their leader, Ferocitas the Dream Eater has been wearing a necklace that glows green in the night. Now seeing my dreamcatcher, I am sure that he has stolen my emerald... He would never realize that its power is useless to him.

Find this missing jewel, <name>. And, while you're there, clear out some of the corrupted mystics as well.

Progress

Ferocitas and the Gnarlpine Mystics must return what is mine. Please retrieve the emerald so that I may repair my emerald dreamcatcher.

Coord above are correct. You can solo this quest at a low level if you can kill Ferocitas fast enough, but be warned it's hard to pull him alone.

Very easy quest. Mystics and Ferocitas found around loc 67,53. To get the jewel &lt;right click&gt; on the necklace that drops from Ferocitas.

I found that these Gnarlpine spawn extremely quickly.

There is a chest behind Ferocitas which I wanted to loot, so I cleared out the Mystics around it. The problem was, I nearly couldn't loot the chest because of the incredibly fast respawn rate. Whenever I had killed the last one and wanted to get at the chest, the first one would already be back.

This respawn rate also made it somewhat harder to get at Ferocitas, as well.

For all the people who say it won't drop. It's not THE emerald necklace that drops. It's the https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=8049 gnarlpine necklace. You have to right-click it to receive the emerald.

This took me several tries to get the necklace with the emerald in it. i went to 70,53 on mine but the coords are close enough where it won't make that big of a difference. But i soloed this as a lvl 7 druid and i pulled only the boss for the 4 times i had to kill him. The emarld is returned to Tallonki in Dolanar. just keep trying to get it if it doesn't drop the first

Have now slayed Ferocitas 15 times in the last 20 minutes, and still no necklace drop. Have petitioned a GM for an investigation into this problem.

A lil' bug. In the quest log, when completed, it says return to the quest guy at Lake Al'ameth, when it is actually Dolanaar.

If you're having trouble finding any https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=7235 Gnarlpine Mystics for this quest, try taking out a few of the https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=2008 Gnarlpine Warriors instead, mystics should spawn in their place within seconds.

As of 4.0.1 this quest is bugged! After killing Ferocitas it resets your Mystic kills. Until this is fixed kill him first, then the mystics!
