To Serve Kum'isha

In your journeys throughout the Blasted Lands, should you ever come across a Flawless Draenethyst Sphere, take the item back to Kum'isha the Collector.

Be warned, this gem is one of the most rare crystals in all of Azeroth. Any creature in these lands could be holding a Flawless Draenethyst Sphere.

You will be rewarded for each Flawless Draenethyst Sphere you have collected.

Description

<race>, can your miniscule brain comprehend the rarity of a flawless sphere of draenethyst? Draenei have spent lifetimes in search of just one of these crystals, only to meet horrible fates, their purpose unfulfilled.

So you stand before Kum'isha, knowing what Kum'isha has requested and still wish to assist? Very well, <race>... At any time during your travels across these lands, should you find a flawless sphere of draenethyst, return it to me and I shall reward you with riches beyond your wildest dreams.

I have dedicated my life to the search of flawless draenethyst spheres. A lifetime, <race>!

Do my eyes deceive me? Impossible! Where did you... How...

Perhaps now a rift can be opened, returning us to our homeland.

Three Spheres just dropped after 4manning Teremus the Devourer, Cow King's Hide, some random Blue plate bracers, and a lvl 49 Polearm

Random Rewards from chest = Not too impressive, not worth anyone's time imo unless your bored like the four of us were

I have managed to solo Teremus the 2 times we ran into one another, and i will be sending the 3 flawless spheres to my 50 lock...should help with leveling and hopefully some nice gear.

Whenever i head to KZ i take a quick ride aroudn the blasted lands to see if i can locate him...these are great items if you can manage to solo him.

If you do get a Flawless Draenethyst - I had one drop off a boar, guess I was lucky that day - hang around.

After a brief wait he does a quick little cut scene opening a rift/portal, then a bunch of Draenei refugees come pouring down from over the hill to escape back to Outlands. Of all their plot-related cut scenes, this'd be one of my favourites.

I did this one yesterday and today as part of a sustained grind through the five gathering quests that are available in the area. It was very busy yesterday, so there was a lot of waiitng for spawns. I think the 5 quests were around 8,500 xp each.

During that time I picked up 1 flawless and 2 flawed crystals. Sold the blue item from the flawless for 40 gold and another 14 for the green item that came from the emerald chest.

When you hand in a Flawless Sphere for the first time (no idea if it happens on repeat handins) this event plays shortly afterwards:<div class=""quote"">Kumi'sha the Collector releases the flawless draenethyst sphere, allowing it to hover before him.
Kumi'sha the Collector chants in an unknown tongue.

*A gaseous cloud forms in front of him*

Kumi'sha the Collector yells: Success, the rift is open! My brethren, rise and return home! The Outland awaits!
Kumi'sha the Collector says: Hurry brothers! You must go now! I do not know how much longer the rift will remain open!

*Many Lost Ones appear and pass through the rift*They're apparently too stupid to release that the Dark Portal is open, just a few hundred yards to the south and does the same thing as their 10 second rift.

NOT immune to wand damage. Solo'd as a lvl 80 shadowpriest.
Just make sure you do not get knocked back onto a stump or some obstacle that Teremus is not able to attack you from, or he will evade/regenerate and you'll have to start this slow process all over again. Only takes about 5-7 minutes with my wand (used Wand of the Fallen Monarch from Anub'arak in Azjol-Nerub: 332-617 shadow damage. sry, haven't posted alot; do not know how to link items &gt;.&lt;) and the blues are nice rewards for your time.

ANY level 80 could probably swing this now. I resisted 100% of his spells, and he was only hitting me for ~350 as a mage. He rarely got through my shield, and by that time, the cooldown was almost over.

This quest also works with your R.A.F. My buddy and I got a sphere each, and the exp was jaw-dropping.

14700 xp for a lvl50 character wearing 2 +10% xp BoA pieces for a first time turn in.
Definitely worth it to check your local ah for one if your at around that lvl, the xp is decent and you get some shiny's that you might be able to use on your lvling character.
If the price is right, go for it.

This quest DOES count for Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms, I bought orb for 17g from AH, chest dropped Wizard's Hand of the Owl and Shortsword of Vengeance, the sword is being valued at 230g by my addon and I'd just wanted the quest to add to total, bargain!
