Description

After examining this charm, <name>, I see now what must be done. Please take it, and do as I ask.

You are to explore the deepest areas of the Ban'ethil Barrow Den. There, you will find my soulless body... Although I regret what I am about to tell you, I see no other way to free myself from the control of the Gnarlpine.

In order for me to escape them, you must kill my physical form. Once that is done, use the voodoo charm on my fallen body. After you have completed this task, please return to me.

Sleeping Robes
Brushwood Blade

There's a nightelf Druid NPC monster. USe the charm on him...once he's dead.

I have done this quest three times with various night elf alts and it went fine. I have tried once as a Draenei and once as a dwarf and both times I got an error message ""Not a valid target"" when I clicked on the charm, got the blue hand and then clicked on the body. Does this only work for night elves?

HE IS INSIDE THE CAVE with entrance at 43,57.
a)To get to him from the entrance you need to turn left on the first crossing.
Then you'll see 3 bridges, he's walking under them in the circle. Be aware of other mobs standing there, don't jump.
b)To get to him from the quest giver you should go forward and then turn right, so you'll be coming north, till you find those 3 bridges.

To save you guys lots of time, because I was circling for about 15 minutes... the simplest path is:

Go across the bridge from the quest giver.
Take the first right.

Kill him, and use the relic.

as of 4.0.3 he is now in the locked room beside the quest giver, the door opens when you have the voodoo charm

After Cataclysm, THIS QUEST HAS CHANGED. After taking the quest, go outside and on to the platform near you (with a few bridges on it). The left of these bridges has a door at the end of it. Walk up to it and voila!

the door will still say locked when you have the quest. just walk up to the door to have it automatically open

Everyone who have previously done this quest watch out. I ran the entire place multiple time before reading quest and reading up on wowhead. Hes right across the bridge right next the the room the Rageclaw Oben Spirit (quest giver) is in.

I guess us altoholic's that think we know b/c we did many times before - need to start reading the quest.... as I now noticed it had been said a few times here.... They have changed this quest now - once you turn in the quest that gives you this one - you have to go to Oben Rageclaw - he gives you Druid of the Claw Quest - I had did it in the past where he is walking in a circle under the bridges - but now if you read the quest it tells you to approach the door to the nearby chamber - a cog will appear - open the door and there he is (with a Body Guard) Kill him - click on him and use the rune - to release - then go back to the giver of the quest and your done....
