Description

Murlocs are crawling out from the deep waters and building their villages on the coastline. They are harassing our fishers and merchants and must be stopped.

One of these murlocs, Gobbler, skulks with other bluegill murlocs and harries merchants along the road, always then retreating to the safety of the nearby murloc hovels. Our merchants are in jeopardy, and we will pay to secure them.

Gobbler prowls the river inlet north of here. Find him, slay his kin, and bring me his head.

They are just outside Menethil in the Bluegill Marsh. Found Gobbler at 15,41 and the Murlocs are all around him.

For those of you that don't have the coord mod, like me...Gobbler is NOT along the shore. Instead, go down the road and over the first wooden bridge. Then to your left you'll see a broken down wooden dock thing and go across the stream there and you should run right into him.

I found this quest very interesting from start since it's a grinding quest. The best parts is after the first one though, I got like 8 bars on 5 minutes searching for the lost statuette! So do this quest all lvl 25 and up.

Note that some of the murlocs labelled ""Bluegill"" dont count for the quest, namely once you get a bit higher near 25,40 ish (the murlocs' levels start to get higher, too)

also easy as a paladin too.... just use AOE if u end up pulling them i pulled him away the ran to a open spot and took him out also using AOE

Just wander around the area shown on Wowhead's map and you'll find him pretty quickly. In these sort of situations I like to fully zoom out my camera to get a really good view of the surroundings. Often I will catch hard-to-find mobs that way.

Also, like most other mini-bosses of his kind, you'll find him with a group of other murlocs by some small huts.

Contrary to what the site has listed - this quest IS still available as of June 20th, 2013 (Patch 5.3). Not sure if it was removed and then replaced, but did it today for xmog boots on my Monk.
