Description

My cousin Tran'rek is in a tight spot. He promised me a load of scarab shells weeks ago and he hasn't delivered. He's my cousin, so I'd hate to have to send someone to Gadgetzan to break something on him.

Can you speak to Tran'rek for me? Let him know he needs to get that delivery together before I do something rash?

Gadgetzan is in northern Tanaris, in Kalimdor.

You don't need to go to the 1st part of this series anymore, under the alliance you can just go to Tran'rek directly.

You don't need to do this quest, however, it counts towards Loremaster of Kalimdor. Keep that in mind when you decide wether to skip it or not.

Can anyone comfirm if you can get this quest even though you have completed the sequal to it? It seems like Krazek wont give me this quest :(

I couldn't pick this up either, and couldn't figure out why, until I realized that I have already done https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=2865 Scarab Shells. the follow up for this one.

I'm not sure how it works but I was not offered this quest from Tran'rek until I went to Booty Bay and spoke to Krazek first. I could have made a mistake when I was checking out low level quest givers in Gadgetzan, but I searched the area twice looking for Zul' Farrak quests. If you can skip Krazek and get this quest from Tran'rek it's a time saver, however not speaking to Krazek first costs you 1 quests towards both Loremaster of Kalimdor and ""the Seeker"" achievement. This was effective patch 3.3.5 like my post ""should"" have on it's heading.

PS - There are other quest givers you are sent to in the next probable area of questing that work this way too. It's a good idea to check Wowhead zone-quests and see if it's a 2 part or series. If you want the quest achievements there's no reason to make it harder on yourself.

I can confirm. When you have https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=2865 Scarab Shells in your Quest log or you have done it, you cannot take this one.
