Description

When our beloved city Gnomeregan fell, a rogue spark must have jolted my poor creation, Techbot. It once aided me and my associates with its countless gizmos and limitless store of information, but its positronic brain has polarized. Now it's negatronic... and Techbot's behaviors are reversed. It roams Gnomeregan in a frenzy!

But perhaps it can be salvaged. Perhaps, if you can retrieve Techbot's memory core and bring it to me, I can discover the cause of the polarization and fix my poor Techbot.

He's located north once you enter Gnomeregan. He's not inside the instance. Located near the backdoor. Techbot has some special tricks such as trapping and summoning somethings. It speaks different things.

Techbot is level 26 elite. Really tough and stun you all the time so you can't do anything.

Gnomeregan is found in the West of Dun Morogh. Go inside and down the lift/elevator, walk to the train depot. He is in one of the rooms around the platform. There are lots of level 25 mobs around.

Formally an elite prior to patch 2.3, Techbot has been demoted along with most other non-instance elites in Azeroth, making this previously quite simple quest into a VERY simple quest.

Go directly into the Train Depot and he's alone in the first full room you can see without having to go into.
