Description

I must have a fresh sample of the venom you brought me. The spiders from which it was gathered must dwell in the Hinterlands -- hunt them until you find an undamaged venom sac and bring it to me. You will find many spiders near the troll city of Shadra'Alor.

Do not tarry, <name>, for the venom sac must be fresh when you deliver it.

Do you have the undamaged venom sac, <name>? I yearn to run experiments with its fresh venom, and have ordered a collection of small, terribly cute animals on which to test it!

Picked it up at 34, 73 on my 5th kill.
BTW, these spiders have 2 little punks inside of them that attack after you kill. 1 hit kills on those fellas as a 48 warrior.

When this item drops -ALL- party members are able to loot it at the same time. Also, this isn't a 100% drop. We found one after our third spider.

Watch out on this one, if you log out with the venom sac in your bag it will disappear. So unless you want to farm for it twice, turn it in ASAP.

The redeeming factor for this quest is the abundance of white spider meat. the reagent for spider sausage which is a decent item to have for some added stamina. if you do not have the recipe yet check this link: https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=21175 https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=21175. I would also suggest that you pick up Stalking the stalkers and Hunt the Savages in Raventusk before you start this. If you end up grinding this quest, you can kill the stalkers and owl beasts on your trips to and from raventusk for repairs.

This quest is anything but usless, check the chain that it is in, it leads to a quest in Zul'Farrak which is worth over 8000 xp. and at the end of the chain u get some pretty good items to pick from not to mention the xp.

Yes it appears that the drop rate has vastly improved form what it was awhile ago.

The timer still applies though ""once you have acquired the quest item"", it will only last for 30mins so head back to Tarren Mill asap.

Edit: this quest will more than likely also reward 250 UC rep if you are already above a certain level of rep with your factions cities.

I happened to find an entrance that makes you get directly to the spiders. There's a sort of a crack in the wall at 30,67. It's exactly small enough for you to get through. And please be aware of the fact that you will not be able to get back the same way, but if you follow the wall you should soon see another more obvious entrance (guarded by troll mobs).

Other than that; I got the https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=9322 Undamaged Venom Sac after 5-6 kills. Also, as said earlier you need to turn the sac in before a certain amount of time, but there is not shown any timer (which made me worry a bit as I didn't know how much time I had left to deliver it), but if you have a mount while doing this quest, which I do presume you have, there shouldn't be any problem turning this quest in in time.
