Your return to Thunder Bluff is not without heralding, though I will need proof of your lessons learned in Moonglade before I will teach you your aquatic form.

Do you have the Pendant of the Sea Lion?

Yes, perhaps aquatic form may not be as good as the ones you listed, but it's still another form, and it's worth getting. It's a quest, you may as well do it, however hard it may be. It doesn't matter if it's 'inferior'. Certain items equipped by you are probably worse than others, but you still equip them, because they're still good.

It's not just speed, the ability to breathe is very useful.
Also note that BRD is almost completely underwater, so that's an example of where aquatic form is useful too.

There are many quests which involve going underwater as well (for example, there are some in STV), and this form is really great for doing them. If you grind, it may not be as useful.

Its a travel form, not wise to use it for underwater combat.
Better to have it, then not. Not only does it increase your swim speed but grants you unlimited breath.

It might not be wise to use it for combat but just switch to it for a second and all of your breath comes back. Espiecally in pvp fights, or at arathi basin, when you're in the water and you and your opponnent start to lose breath you can just switch to water form and you get your breath back. After that just entangle your enemy till they lose their breath and die. It's a sinister way to kill someone but it's dang easy.

How come so many times asks why some skills exist ""because they never use them""? It's another form, another thing to press on your skillbar, another animal to turn into, and another possibility of role-playing.

How is it not worth the effort? :p

Can't it just be a fun skill? Useful sometimes, but mostly there to see yourself flow past everyone like you were born at sea? Jump of a ship and the next second you're a sea lion diving into the depths of the great sea!

Possibilities, man... possibilities...

The number of times i have fallen in water and have not been able to find a way out due to cliffs, and the distance to travel to get out is immense, i always wished i was a druid so i could easily solve the problem :)

I bought the form at 16, and did the quest for the belt, the form made getting the belt a lot easier.

In patch 3.2 you no longer get Aquaric Form from that quest. Aquaric Form is obtainable from Druid Trainer at level 16.

I think it doesn't matter, because many people wants Aquarius Belt.

If you do a faction change, you can do the counterpart of the quest even if you did it on your original faction.
I transferred my Nightelf into a Tauren, and although I did the origial (Alliance) quest I received the horde equivalent. At lvl76, it awarded 25.000 xp (just the last quest, plus the ones before), 500 Cen. Circle reputation.
It easy xp/reputation, just hs dalaran - teleport Orgrimmar / Undercity.
