Description

I'm preparing to start a mission for the Siege Brigade. It's a long one, and I need to stock Jetsteam with a month's worth of supplies. So while Steelgrill is working on my tank, can you do some hunting for me?

I'll need some fur for bedding, and boar meat for food. You can get meat from boars and fur from the bears... you can find them both in the snow fields south of the Grizzled Den.

Has a far better drop rate off Large Crag Boars, compaired to normal ones. Theyre located all over Dun Morogh, more so to the S/E

Large boars - 55,47 (Kill the larger boars for more drop chance.)

Ice Bears - 51,44 (Under the trees and in the area. Few spawn at a time.)

Good drop rate of Thick Bear Fur has Ice Claw Bear which can be found near Large Crag Boars.

Okay, either i am missing something or something is wrong, been trying to get the last Chunk of Boar Meat for almost 30 min now, almost got a full level trying to get it (are level 8 soon). And it wont drop, all i get is Crag Boar Rib. Is it bugged or am i just REAL unlucky?

When I was selling inventory, it didn't mark the boar meat as a quest item &amp; let me sell it. I was upset until I remembered buyback.

seems as of patch 4.0.3 there are no bears around and boars don't drop the meat hardly at all

I have this quest and have met all the requirements except for one of the two thick bear furs. I cannot find a single bear other than Mangeclaw who does not drop a fur. Is this quest now impossible to complete?

I actually still had this quest today (and https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=5541"">(Quest #5541)) on a character I started a long time ago. I was able to complete it, getting the https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=769"" class=""qundefined icontiny"" style=""background-image: url(images/icons/tiny/inv_misc_food_14.gif)"">Chunk of Boar Meat off of https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=1125"">(NPC #1125)s in the area and the 2 https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=6952"" class=""qundefined icontiny"" style=""background-image: url(images/icons/tiny/inv_misc_pelt_bear_01.gif)"">Thick Bear Furs off of 4 https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=1196"">(NPC #1196)s to the east of Frostmane Retreat.

I was also able to share the quest with another quester, but when I completed it, I was told ""You don't meet the requirements for that quest"" when I would presumably have been offered https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=318"">(Quest #318).
