Description

I hate those nasty timber wolves! But I sure like eating wolf steaks... Bring me tough wolf meat and I will exchange it for something you'll find useful.

Tough wolf meat is gathered from hunting the timber wolves and young wolves wandering the Northshire countryside.

It has changed in 3.3 PTR! All wolves are now 'Young Diseased Wolves' and the quest giver asks you to kill them before the plague spreads further! I wonder why they changed it.

Amusingly, on the current PTR his ""quest giving"" is sad and resigned at having to give the kill order... but when you give him the pelts he thanks you for the meat and prepares to cook it. Uhm... kay?

It's just weird to me that a man who's taken on the last name of 'Peltskinner' is sad to ask anyone to 'kill nature's beasts.' I mean, what? Did DHETA get their claws and hooves into Blizzard HQ?

Yep. Used to be mindless murder of wolves. But since many people choose humans as their first character, they didn't see to the end of their trial because people get stupid and sensitive when it comes to animal slaughter.

Judging by the way this Peltskinner guy is 'cleansing' these infected wolves I'd say he's heading down the path of evil, much like Arthas and the Stratholme incident
