Stealing Knowledge

Find the Tablet of Beth'Amara, the Tablet of Jin'yael, the Tablet of Markri, and the Tablet of Sael'hai before returning to Jediga in Azshara.
Tablet of Beth'Amara
Tablet of Jin'yael
Tablet of Markri
Tablet of Sael'hai

Description

I admit, <name>, I've made the most of my situation in Azshara. Belgrom's punishment has had its share of benefits.

Before I left, I did some research and you would be surprised how many valuable items are lying around.

I'll tell you more about my deals, and even give you a cut of the profits, if you help me gather some of them.

There are tablets throughout the Ruins of Eldarath to the east that I need. All four are named after Highborne wizards. Get them for me and we'll talk some more.

Progress

The tablets I'm having you gather should bring in a pretty copper or two to the right parties. I'll tell you who we need to deliver them to after you've found them. But I'm no fool... you'll get your share after I have proof that they've been delivered.

So get to it--we don't have all day. I might have to find someone else to help me.

Completion

Perfect, <name>, and in good condition also. These should get us a good price from all the parties concerned.

Let's not dawdle around here any longer than we have to. We have some money to make.

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:
  • 510 experience (30 60 at max. level)

Very easy quest, run to Ruins of Eldarath and pick up the crystals. When you are done with the quest you will get four quests, where you have to speak to four people, in Orgrimmar,
Undercity, Thunder Bluff, Azshara. All the people you have to give a tablet will give you a quest to report back to Jediga.
Very nice way to a lot of xp easy and fast.

The locations of the tablets are not that random. The only thing that is random is which tablet spawns where.
So here are the locations I found while running around the area doing the quest:

Tablet of Markri:
35,56; 36,52; 39,61

Tablet of Sael'hai:
38,53

Tablet of Jin'yael:
39,61; 42,46

Tablet of Beth'Amara:
38,60

It is not too hard to complete at all. The mobs are easy prey (most of them lvl48) and I found the tablets quite quickly.

this is a ""must do"" quest! leads to some easy steps, where you have 2 bring the tablets to 4 ppl... 1 in UC, Org, TB and some mage in a tower in azshara, (there is a teleport pad east of the village thing) and the chain gives 30500 xp in all. All of the tablets were easy 2 find exept the blue one, but i found it at (34, 59)

Respawn time on the tablets is not very long. I suggest that you just ""camp"" a spot where the tablets spawn. If it respawns and you already have it, just loot it and it disapears, another will spawn instantly somewhere in the vacinity. I got 3 of them in about 30 secs at 39, 62.

The tablets are not in a set location. The same tablet can actually be in more than one place at the same time. I saw a Tablet of Markri (which I didn't need and thus didn't loot) and then walked a bit more up the road and saw another Tablet of Markri. I double-checked, and they are both indeed there!

If you're a hunter, don't forget about Eagle Eye; use it to scout out the ruins and find the tablets before you go around chopping up the naga. Just don't make the same mistake I dwowhead:1,id: I spent five minutes Eagle Eye-ing every spot I could see trying to find the blue tablet, only to realise I was standing next to it...

Don't rely on coordinates for these tablets. They do spawn randomly. So randomly in fact, that I found two Tablets of Jin'yael in close proximity of each other at the same time.

This quest may seem hard at first, but it's very easy and worth doing. First thing forget the coords above, they will lead you to the general area and yes some may have the tablets there. They spawn everywhere in the Ruins of Eldarath. You may get the Marki one and turn and see 3 more close by. Just take a stroll around the ruins, look for the new glow for quest items and also look for the colored glow as stated above. Enjoy. For those without coords to get to the general area head north on the road until it breaks off, the ruins are also marked on your map. Good Luck and Happy Hunting. Also look for a Named Naga, ""Lady S....something"" she is a rare and dropped an ok Plate chest.

Edit: First hand in gave me (Level 52) 7350 xp.

ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT, this is the reason i go to Azshara...i do this quest and get out. as of patch 2.3 u get a total of 43950XP just from the turn ins not including the kills u get for the tablets on the first part. everyone should do this quest at 45-50 ish. its a lot easier as mage since u can portal to the major cities, as of being lvl 48 this got me half a lvl exactly!

As of 2.3 I believe this line now gives the following:
  • 7350 (this Quest)
  • 3650 per delivery (x4) = 14600
  • 5550 per payment (x 4) = 22200
For a grand total of 44150xp... all for finding four tablets and hitting all the major cities once... not too shabby!

Actually there are no exact co-ords for the tablets.

They actually spawn more than one of each type.

I actually had 2 ""Tablet of Beth'Amara"" on my screen in the same time.

These tablets are all over the Ruins of Eldarath. Don't spend your time (like I did) trying to camp a spot that you've read in this threat, cos you'll find them where you find them. For me Beth'Amara was the hardest to find (of course I only found one, cos I left for Valormok as soon as I was done).

Nice quest, not hard and great xp.
Don't do what I did, DO read the info carefully.
Don't try to get to the Archmage Xylem in the mountains on your own, that does not work! Go to his apprentice at 28,50 and he'll port you there.

At that same place you were ported to, you will find someone to port you back to ground.
I don't know how this could have been avoided, but I landed on a cliff walker elite.
Luckily a shaman was also ported and helped me kill it.
Not fun when you are not expecting it!

There's definitely something fishy about this whole questline. The way Jediga talks about it and the way the recipients react on delivery all imply something more than simple trafficking of illicit archaeological specimens. Particularly, Jediga seems very surprised that everyone was so happy with their product, and all the parties involved seem to be very insistent that Jediga come visit them soon. Maybe it's just grandiose writing, or maybe it's something more...sinister.
