Description

Expert engineering yields two distinct disciplines: gnome and goblin. I only bother to mention goblin engineering because I'm a fair trainer. They like to make things that blow up, and they rarely care what is in the way - even themselves.

<name>, read this manual. If you want to learn how to blow yourself up, then take it to Nixx Sprocketspring in Gadgetzan. Remember - membership is permanent and prevents joining the other discipline, so make sure this is what you want before finishing his task.

Well <name>, you were wise to seek my tutelage! Any schlep can become an expert at the basics of engineering - the gnomes and their irradiated home of Gnomeregan are proof of that. It takes a strong mind and a steady hand (emphasis on STEADY) though to master the discipline of Goblin Engineering.

maybe it's just me, but when I picked up this quest in IF, i right clicked&gt;read the book and when I got to gadgetzan, it wasn't in my inventory and it's no where to be found..anyone know why?

If you read the quest, it tells you that you have to make a choice, you can't do them both. Either take it to the Gnome, or the Goblin.<div class=""quote"">""Remember- membership is permanent &amp; prevents joining the other discipline, so make sure you are sure before finishing this task!""

IMO goblin isnt as good as gnomish , gnomish has more things , usefull things mainly ...IMO

I think this quest is bugged. I turned in the quest into the goblin but he doesn't give me a follow up.

Alright so this is weird for me... I've been a Gnomish Engineer for quite a while and all of a sudden today I see this quest available from this guy. Any word on whether there was an unlisted ability to switch between specifications for engineers in the last patch?

I have a Warrior-Protection level 82, with goblin engineering! He is goblin engineering level 396 / 425, but where does he get his training. All Engineering trainers is Dalaran and Stormwind are ""Blank"" to him, where does he go to pick up Goblin Engineering recipes? I will check back for an answer!
