Description

As your mentor, I want samples of your work. You're a skilled engineer; there is no question of this, <name>. What I hope to do though is analyze them for ways to emphasize goblin-oriented techniques in your future efforts. I need the following: twenty big iron bombs, twenty sticks of solid dynamite, and five explosive sheep - and keep the safeties armed!

Submit these items to me and I will issue you your own Goblin Engineer Membership Card; it is required for access to all goblin engineering trainers!

Progress

Once I receive your crafted engineering items for my review, I will hand you a genuine Goblin Engineer Membership Card! So long as the card is valid, you will have unlimited access to any goblin engineer trainer anywhere in the world.

Completion

Here is your first Goblin Engineer Membership Card!

This card has its dues paid for in advance for fourteen days; all cards expire after two weeks of activity. When it does, pay your next set of dues to any goblin engineer trainer in order to get another card; without the card, your membership will temporarily lapse and you cannot access new schemata.

This never affects what you already know; once a goblin engineer, always a goblin engineer.

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:
  • 315 experience (18 90 at max. level)

Not sure if this applies to everyone but I had finished powerleveling my engineering and I gathered up all of the mats for this quest before traveling to Gadgetzan. Once there I found Nixx Sprocketspring and he did not have a quest to offer but told me to go and read the https://vanillawowdb.com/?object=177226 Book ""Soothsaying for Dummies"" in Steamwheedle port. So I went to read from the book figuring I would then be told to speak to Nixx again I was given the choice to choose my specialization. I choose Goblin and poof.... I am now a Goblin engineer without having to complete this quest.

So, I guess what I am trying to say is that if you have not chosen a specialization yet do not bother crafting the mats for this quest until you are sure that you need to.

This quest is extremely easy to do for both alli and horde, just make a full circut around Thousand needles, and stop off and kill the Galak's for the cloth on your way... Galak's located 44,38, they drop both Wool, and Silk.

While it states ""Requires level 30"", I just did this quest with a level 21, so the level requirement must have changed.

Nixx Sprocketspring belongs to the gadgetzan faction, so if you're not neutral or better with them you can't do the quest.
