Speak with Cyrus after you have the quest and say you do not have any proof. Another dialogue option saying you're ready will summon a 54 dragon to defeat for the quest.

To get the black dragonflight molt you must complete the quest chain in searing gorge that starts with https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=3442 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=3442 from the NPC(Kalatran Windblade) just south of thorium point. It's a fairly simple and lucrative chain, but it's long. at the end, you aquire the Hoard of the Black Dragonflight which has the Black Dragonflight molt and green or 2 in it.

yes the dragon is no longer elite very easy kill did as a 56 enh shammy (raped it)

To clarify, this version of ""A Taste of Flame"" is offered to those who have not completed the quest line of https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=8479"">(NPC #8479) in the https://vanillawowdb.com/?zone=51"">Searing Gorge. If you've done all those quests and still have the Black Dragonflight Molt you earned after completing https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=3481"">(Quest #3481), you'll receive the alternate version of https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=4022"">(Quest #4022) instead.

Encountered a bug or possibly not a bug but just something slightly annoying about this quest. Went to spawn the dragon, killed it and I looted it. My quest buddy was not able to loot. We figured it was just one of those annoying quests that require each person to do it separately. My buddy attempted to spawn the dragon again and it did not spawn. Tried abandoning and re-accepting the quest. No luck. After about five minutes or so, he finally came. It's either a bug... or there is actually a spawn timer on the dragon. I'm assuming there's a timer.

Wowhead tracks this as incomplete, probably because i have done the full quest line. I have the Molt and is offered no quest
