The Dark Iron dwarves, led by the villain Hurley Blackbreath, stole one of the Thunderbrew's best recipes, Thunderbrew Lager. The villains! They don't deserve such a fine brew!

<name>, I have a tough task for you. Go to the Blackrock Depths in the Burning Steppes, destroy any kegs of Thunderbrew Lager you find, and bring back our recipe for Thunderbrew Lager!

Please, get that recipe back, even if you have to turn Blackrock Depths upside down to do it!

I think you do have to kill him. He drops it. Go into brd, grim guzzler area. Once in the doorway turn left. Kill the kegs, he'll come running in with 5-4 of his henchmen. Defeat them and Hurley you have the recipe.

The kegs you need to destroy are in the side room on the lower level, there are three in a row. See pic.

Edit: To be more clear, as you walk up the stairs into the Grim Guzzler the room with the kegs is to the left.

Is it just me or other people find it kind of weird too that a dwarf just sends of an adventurer into the home of a race that is known for its evil and violent ways saying 'turn the whole place upside down if you need' just to get back a recipe? I mean yeah it must feel bad to lose something precious but... Come on! You send of an adventurer to retrieve a recipe if its in the hands of a thief, not if its locked away in the very jaw of death!

Then again... Those Dark Irons really don't deserve to drink something as good as the Thunderbrew Lager.

A small tip. If you haven't done this quest yet and you are level 80 and hunting for loremaster. Take your chance now during brewfest and join Looking For Group for Coren Direbrew. You will end up in the exact room where you will have to destroy three kegs and Hurley will spawn.
