Description

My brother Quinn and I were tasked to recon Silverpine Forest and report to High Executor Hadrec. But we didn't get far -- when moving through this farm we were attacked by the ghoul Ivar the Foul.

We escaped from Ivar, but he seriously mauled Quinn. He's healing from the potion you gave him, but Ivar may return before Quinn recovers.

Kill Ivar so Quinn will have time to heal. Ivar is usually in the barn yonder, waiting for my guard to drop.

Progress

Have you killed Ivar the Foul? If you won't do it for me and my brother, then do it for the Forsaken.

Pretty easy quest, just run over to the barn and kill him, the only trouble is that he has a couple helpers, but it can still be done if you're sly about it.

Not that easy... at least, not for a solo mage. He has at least four guards within the barn, and another four outside, all with fast respawn rates. Even as a level 15 mage, I died several times and had to content myself with resurrecting, loot-and-run, etc.

They're all highly resistant to spells, and can't be polymorphed.

I did it as 12 lvl mage. I cleaned it from adds and patrol, then remained only boss with one add. I pulled boss and killed him (add still attacking me), then I ran away from last add and when he evaded I came back for head. Died just one time, second try was successful :)

the q is pretty easy if ur rogue or warlock but its terrific hard on mage and warriors

i did this solo as a 14 mage EASY i killed mobs around barn and when i went in it was him and one other. i just rapidly cast arcane explosion and it took care of them well. pretty simple =)

Pretty hard if your not a lvl 15. The only reason is because he has like 8 other Ravenclaw zombies. He is in the other building where you got the quest and you should not do this if your lower then a lvl 14

Pretty easy as a lvl 12 Rogue. Just took out each ghoul one at a time as I neared the barn and when in the doorway another two ghouls came at me from inside. Took them both out with a combination of Kick and Sinister Strike followed by Eviscerate. Waited a second or two to get energy back and went in to Ivar who had a lvl 12 add with him. Same again. Hope this helps. Dead easy.

He has a less-than-expected damage out-put and health for a mini-boss, so the only problem is pulling his adds one at a time. If you do it right, you should wind up with only one alongside him, so it should be rather simple.

Solo'd as a 13 priest, and my shield didn't even drop before I killed both of them.
