Description

Hey! Hey, you! Get over here!

Ya gotta help me out. I was runnin' from them Dark Iron dwarves, and I hid in here to get out of sight. Damn bastard geologists and their magic ways! They musta seen me hide, cause next thing I knew, they locked the door and stuck me in here.

Teach them geologists a lesson! Oh... an' can ya get me some pieces of silk cloth for... for... nothin'.

I ain't got all day! Get me those pieces of silk cloth! I mean geologists. Get those geologists! They deserve to feel my, well... your wrath.

Oh, this is great! Nice feel to it too!

What? Oh, yeah... geologists. Got 'em good, did ya? I can't thank ya enough, <name>. That'll give me some time to finish up in here... I mean, it'll let me not have to worry about them comin' back for me anytime soon. Thanks again.

The droprate of silk off the nearby dwarves is horrible. I suggest that you bring silk prior to getting this quest. If you decide to clear the camp over and over, don't forget about the second camp to the north along the road. Clear one camp then run back to the other and repeat the cycle for minimum downtime.

This quest is gotten from the Outhouse at 65,62, it looks like a wooden cubicle.

The camp of Dark Iron Geologists is at the Grimeslit Dig Site (60,63). I normally keep Silk in my bag so that's not my main worry.

Didn't have any silk so I just took the pass (start coord 69,53 in Searing Gorge) over to the Badlands and killed about 12 Shadowforge Tunnelers (coords 53,34 at Hammertoe Dig site. Fast drops on silk.

Even closer are the ogres just to the south of the entrance to Searing Gorge and they drop silk in large quantities.

15 Silk is not that much, most anyone should have it and you will always find it in the AH, I would recommend that you bring it with you, makes your life easier and saves time.

p.s. be careful not to aggro all of the dwarves at once because there fireballs do some pretty mean damage.

Requiring 15 pieces of silk indicates that not only does he have a really nasty case of the runs, his skin is quite delicate. I know nothing but silk touches my ass.

If you don't have any cloth on you you may want to fly to ironforge and pick it up real quick. I quested in this zone for about 2 hours. I musta picked up about 80 mageweave cloth and 9 silk and that was after clearing those elves in firewatch cave 3 times!

he should learn to wipe with mageweave or runecloth, its easier to obtain from the nearby dwarves :P

Apparently when I was doing this quest, after I had acquired the silk cloth, it counted for the quest and I did not have to have the silk cloth to actually COMPLETE the quest.
