This is actually quite useful for a paladin. Consider what the +8 Int does for us. First, +8 Int. Assuming at 60 the paladin formula for spell crit is:

[INT/29.5?]%

This gives us .27% crit chance for 8 Int.

Now, also assume that paladins have Divine Intellect, and Blessing of Kings, that increases the 8 int to about 9.6 (or 9.68, however, they do the math) int. Assuming they round up, that's 10 int.

Compare this to the ZG enchant, which give us 10 Stamina, 24 healing, and 7 defense. Assuming at this point that defense is all but useless for a current end-game raiding paladin, it comes down to +healing and stamina and more mana and spell crit.

With two enchants, you have the following totals:

ZG: 48 +healing, 200 health
LIbram: 20 Int (assuming BoK and DI talent), which gives us .54% spell crit, ~300 mana

Considering the limited number of ZG enchants you can get these days, +8 int doesn't look that bad.

Good to know info:
Unlike the Aldor or Scryer enchanting items. Which bind to you when you get them and then bind the item you use it on to you also.

Only the Arcanum binds to you. Using the Arcanum on an item does not bind the item to you.

So... +8 stam on a twink head piece is something to think about.

For Horde characters who've never been to Burning Steppes, there are two ways to get there.

1) Fly to Searing Gorge, then walk through Blackrock Mountain to the Burning Steppes.

2) Ride through Elwynn Forest to Redridge Mountains to the Burning Steppes.

Note that option 2 puts you riding through Alliance towns, but if you're not familiar with Blackrock Mountain it could be the easier of the two choices.

I was terribly anxious about doing this quest myself for a BoE helm I wanted to send to my hunter twink. I wasn't sure if it had been changed, so I went and did my libram of voracity quest for the +8 agility, took a deep breath, and slapped it on...

The helm is ... In the mail! :)

These enchants are no longer useable in the trade-screen. They will soulbind if used on an BoE item as well. This was done to nerf twinks further in the 3.1 patch.

These will probably be popular for the BoA helms once most bigger guilds start hitting level 20.

Assuming they work on them that is, all the other available enchants require an item level and not character level.

I do not see why they would not work. The Zul Gurub shoulder enchants (30 attack power and 18 spell power) both work, they just need to be enchanted onto the heirloom by a level 80 - 85 and do not activate on the character you're leveling until he or she is level 55. I know because I ground Zandalar tribe to exalted and enchanted my heirloom shoulders that way, and they work. I would imagine that the helmet enchants will work much the same way.

My guild is level 17, so I will be testing my theory once it turns level 20.
