Well of Corruption

Collect a sample of corrupted water from the Jadefire Satyrs' moonwell and bring it to Winna Hazzard at Bloodvenom Post.

Description

Some may say that I am exceptionally cruel... But truly, it is only a strong desire to see the Horde gain an advantage against the Alliance, in any way possible.

My newest interest is a moonwell at the Ruins of Constellas, south of here, tended by the Jadefire satyrs. The moonwell, once a symbol of renewal for the insufferable night elves, is now corrupted, and used to bring forth more satyrs.

I have an idea, <name>, and I'd like a sample of the water... for my little feline friend here.

The corrupted moonwell is at (32,66) Felwood, surrounded by level 50-52 Jadefire satyrs and a named boss, Xavathras (54).

Also note, to get here, you need to come from the south, not the north. If you're coming from Bloodvenom post, you want to get off the road somewhere aroun 42,66. Coming from the north will only get you lost in the mountains surrounded by angry orcs.

This quest, plus the follow up (https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=4506 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=4506) give you a total of 15.8k xp. It's pretty nice since the two quest together take you around 10 minutes to do (if you don't want to kill all the mobs around).

It's quite heavily guarded so if you are in a hurry, mount, run straight at the moonwell, die and res there. You can take off your gear if you want

It's south of Jaedenar, where the little stone mark on the map is. You follow past it to the west and its on the edge of Felwood.

Remember! The corrupted well is PLACED at 32,66, but the ENTRANCE is at 36,67. I ran around searching for the stupid well at 36,67..

The Well of Corruption can be found in the northwest corner of the Ruins of Constalles, south of Jaedenar.

I did this quest on my rogue and found it to be very easy. Simply stealth in, fill your vial, and stealth out before they even realize what happened.

Ok! for those who don't always follow along... Like me ^_^ As a heads up. You are not looking for a cave entrance. You're actually going to follow a path. I kept heading to the coords and couldn't' find an entrance, I thought I was going nuts until I looked at the screen shots.

As the earlier Rogue posted just ride in, vanish when you get to the pool and then collect the water there. Even though collecting the water will unvanish you I wasn't attacked at all. I was able to saddle up and be on my way no problem.

If you do for some reason get into trouble, just be aware that it's one hell of a drop down if you continue past the pool west.

i got 250 Undercity rep from this quest, not the 62 that is stated.

im not sure if this is because im exhaulted with org, TB, and Darkspear trolls, or it just changed.

it's quite confusing because there are two quests in the area giving you a vial you have to use to sample water from two different corrupted moonwells. This one, and //www.aowow.org/https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=5157"">Collection of the Corrupt Water, the latter one being in Jaedenar.
So if you happen to have them both in your log be cleverer than I and use the right vial at the right well before getting frustrated over all the error messages.

Also I'd wonder if either of the quest givers would even notice if I'd bring them the other well's water.... -_- In real life I'd probably cheat here. Hehe.
