Description

Travel to Kalimdor, <race>. Our flight makes its home in the frigid landscape of Winterspring. Once you reach Winterspring, find the caves of Mazthoril.

Upon the icy floors of Mazthoril you will find cobalt runes. Hold one of my scales and stand upon a rune and you shall be transported to Haleh, our matron protectorate.

Give her the scale so that she may scry what it is I have seen and felt, here in this doomed place.

Completion

The Aspects insist that we stay out of the affairs of mortals. In this world, however, such a thing is not always possible - especially when one of our own contemptuously disregards such edicts.

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:

Yes, confirmed that she is only reachable through the cave. In the back of the cave by a swarm of those small dragonkin there is a small circle w/ detail in the center. Run over that and you will be ported to Haleh. Talk to her &amp; eventually she will shove you off the cliff and to the Plaguelands. Rather silly, lol...take a few screenshots while you're at it. You then need to go to Andorhal &amp; find the named person. Be careful that you are not tabbed out at this point (like I was) because she ports you into water. I drowned, lol.

When you're done with the next quest https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=5161 Wrath of the Blue Flight she will knock you off the mountain and you get ported to WPL. In case you don't read the quest text and were doing any other quests in Winterspring like I was, now I have to go all the way back to Winterspring to turn in my quests.

This quest does Count for Loremaster of Kalimdor or the one you turn in after right as she kicks you to WPL (fun) does.

But I saw my tracker go up 1 point none the less. Looks like its the only one that counts of the whole chain though.

my experience with this quest was, when i got to back of cave by a thorium vein and 3 whelps, i suddenly discovered Hyjal. and then boom i was ported to the entrance of darkwhisper gorge... didnt see any rune on floor either... must be bugged..

You are looking for colbalt blue styalised cirlce on the ground. The circle is near the end, but if you enter Hyjal and get ported, then you have gone too far. Circle is located inb etween 2 groups of Cobalt Welps. The circle looks similar to the green teleproting circle that Warlocks can summon for them for themselves - dont know the exact name...

I cannot find any climable path up the mountain - i spent hours looking because I could not find the protal circle. But there is finately a nice fall down.

Still does not count towards the Loremaster of Kalimdor. Next quest still does however - You will get kicked to WPL upon completing this one.

That in mind, I do not know if you can use the blue portal circle (the recieving end one on top of the mountain) to get back down, should you choose not to do the next quest.

It would be nice if someone could test this theory and report back, as well as testing if the portal circle in the cave does or doesn't still work after completing the quest.

I had a slight mix up and deleted his scale. Anyone know of a way to get another other than abandoning the quest and doing it over?

You can climb up there but it's easiest with someone like a mage who has feather fall, as this makes the leaps easier And it cuts down on the Ouch factor for when you Do fall.

It's best if you if you start the run up the mountain Much further back and attempt to leap your way from mogul to mogul.

Gonna try and leaving Three pics of this quest, one is a visual of her and what her location looks like (also shows the path I took to get to her in the back ground), the second shows where the teleport ring is in the cave and the third is what it looks like.
