The Last Barov

Travel to the Bulwark - Horde territory - and assassinate Alexi Barov. Take his head and return to Weldon Barov.

Be warned, Alexi will probably be well protected by Horde filth.

Description

With the deeds recovered, there is but one thing left to do. Alexi must be killed. With him dead, I need not ever worry about an unscrupulous gang of mercenaries seeking my head.

It's a simple task. Alexi hides under the protection of the Horde - at the Bulwark.

No, I do not expect you to just walk up and kill him, I want his head! How you get it... well, that part is up to you. That type of behavior is below one of my noble upbringing.

A glorious day it is! Finally, the pockmark of house Barov eliminated and my fortune secure!

Alexi Barov can be found in the camp to the left as you enter Tirisfal Glades from Western Plaguelands. Alexi can be pulled by himself if you shoot him from the road. Battling him is a rather straight forward fight, DPS him until he's down. Be sure you have a solid tank with you, Alexi hits like a truck.

This fight should be rather easy with a full group of 5 but it is possible to bring extra friends along to help. If you're having a hard time bringing him down, have a few friends in reserve and have them wait for your party to ""tap"" him, then they can jump in. And it goes without saying: watch for horde.

This quest is actually soloable by a prot pally. I had the quest and got the deeds and decided to give it a try. I'm a level 57 Prot pally and I was able to solo it and all i did was keep up JoL (Judgement of Light) and SoL (Seal of Light) along with HS (Holy Sheild) and just endured him really. If you get too low use LoH (Lay on Hands) once you get to about 15% and you should be good. Just make sure before you use LoH that he's atleast at around 30% so you don't waste your cooldown

Well I don't know if I was just lucky, but I walked up to him to engage, and although I could see there were at least 3 lvl60's around not one of them came to aid him. So I soloed him with ease as a lvl 60 paladin. 11900XP and fun trinket :)

Nice to see that the brother's Barov are equally obnoxious. Such a pity you can't kill your own faction.

Unfortunately, I had the same thing happen to me. I could see them all on my Humanoid tracking from WP but when I entered TG they disappeared. I waited what seemed like forever and they never materialized into my reality (so to speak). Frustrating.

when I first came and killed him with Hurricane and force of nature, I couldnt loot his head. So I waited for the longest time, about 40 minutes, for him to spawn. Killed him again with only melee and got his head.

the guy who gives the quest has a VERY long spawn time! just be patient... come back later if neccesary.... espect to wait 30+mins if some horde arse comes and kills him!
