Find Doctor Theolen Krastinov inside the Scholomance. Destroy him, then burn the Remains of Eva Sarkhoff and the Remains of Lucien Sarkhoff. Return to Eva Sarkhoff when the task is complete.

Description

Krastinov is responsible for the deaths of thousands. He must be punished, justice must be meted out.

Find him and exact upon him the agony he has inflicted upon countless innocents. Once he is destroyed, burn our remains. Turn them to ashes, <name>.

The Butcher must be stopped!

Completion

I can feel my spirit healing, <name>. You have done my husband and I a great service, but I am certain there is more to be done.

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:

Both remains are in the same room as the doctor, just off to the side. Looking back on it now, I can't believe I missed them.

You have to complete all three quests to get the Major Mana potion and Transmute water to Air recipes. It is very worth it.

However inorder to complete all three in one swoop you need a group that is willing to back track to let you turn in the quest and about 4 hours of time. If not you'll have to run scholo 3 times to finish.

If you're looking to do this quest, be aware that just selecting ""Low Level Quest"" tracking is not enough. You actually have to talk to Eva Sarkhoff about a bunch of stuff before the quest will become available. She's just to the right of the Scholomance entrance.

The Butcher's name may be derived from the Russian word for the color red, , pronounced ""krasnui.""

Or it could just be a silly old coincidence.

Well there is one other link between him and the butcher from diablo 1. And that would be the room they are in. Both are are in meaty room with meat hanging from the roof or impaled people on the ground (d1). So thats another thing.
