Collect 3 Gloom Weed and deliver them to Junior Apothecary Holland in the Brill graveyard.

Description

Master want weeds. Us gots big hands and not good at picking. You help us and we not hurt you. Us need gloom weed. Many weeds around here and near road.

When you have gloom weed you take to Master Holland in Brill graveyard.

Where's that useless abomination? Either you have what I need or you'd best get out there and find it.

What's this? Gloom weed?! I've no need for gloom weed! That mindless mass of flesh is out there picking daisies and convincing the Lady knows how many dupes like you into doing the same. No offense.

Very well, you're here now and that's all that matters. Since I'm not going to bother to try to explain things to that abomination how about you collect what I really need... doom weed!

Gloom Weed is all around the walking path. If you have Herbalism, turn it on, and you will see yellow dots. Some of these will be the Gloom Weed you need.

I did this quest while doing another at the same time. Easy enough to do this and more. The three Gloom Weeds I needed were found west of the graveyard and you don't need to wander too far. The NPC to finish this quest is, Junior Apothecary Holland. He's a wandering NPC in the graveyard. If you don't see him just run through and you'll find him.

To make this quest even easier, pick up Herbalism in Brill if you happen to pass it. You can detect the Gloom Weed on the minimap using Find Herbs.

FYI, that fatty Gordo will pick Gloomweed he gets close to so you need to be quick if he's in the area.

Found all three just around stillwater pond. When standing on the south edge of the pond I could just see each of them South, Southwest, and Southeast of my spot.

The Abomination Gordo near the road to Brill, in Tirisfal Glades, wants you to get some Gloom weed, and bring it to Apothecary Holland in the quest Gordo's Task.

Gloom weed can be found all behind trees and bushes, also you can found it under the bridge in Cold Heart Manor, or behind and on mountains in Cold Heart Manor. And you shouldn't waste your time training char Herbalism.

I think they may have changed this quest recently. I had a horrible time finding the gloom weed - ran all over and couldn't find it anywhere. In desperation I dove under the surface of the lake and found all three pretty quickly. Also, when I turned in the quest, the NPC was in the shop with the huge apothecary apparatus, not in the graveyard.

Blizz may have marked this quest ""obsolete"", but it surely can still be obtained and completed. As Kyimera indicated, the gloom weed is in the lake.

The weeds seem to grow up against trees, and out in the open. Look for the sparkles. I was able to find one by sweeping my mouse along the screen until I moused over one that was far away.
