Description

I was traveling to Auberdine with an important message when I was attacked by the furbolg Marosh and his trackers. During the attack I was poisoned, leaving me barely able to stand. I can make an antidote, but it will take time before it is ready.

I would ask that you defend me until I can apply the antidote. I will aid you with my bow as best I can.

Should we survive, I will be able deliver my message to Auberdine, while you speak with Onaeya at Maestra's Post to inform her of this incident.

Have you seen of Sentinel Aynasha on the road? She left on an important mission but she has not yet returned.

Completion

She's hidden in the hills, sort of difficult to find. 3 waves spawn upon accepting the quest, the first with 2 furbolgs, the second with 3, and the last wave with the named furbolg ""boss.""

Did it just now, lv 27 warrior. There were REALLY long pauses between each wave and I was beginning to think it had bugged out, but they came, eventually.

Only problem I had was trying to stay awake after I killed the last guy waiting for the complete message. They need to fix that. 19 Human Paladin.

I didn't really read it in any of the above comments - but for anyone trying to do this (I'm trying for loremaster) after killing the last guy, you have to wait 20-30 seconds for the complete message.

I was starting to get angry that it was somehow bugged, and while I came to wowhead to check up on it, the complete message popped up.

So - Not bugged, takes a bit for completion after you kill the 3rd wave named guy.

About the quest it seems like it is coded in an old fashion way. Like this

""One Shot. One Kill."", has been the snipers motto since WW1/2, it's debatable the exact time when people started using the phrase but, it most definitely didn't come from Warcraft/wow or the movie deer hunter.

For a high level like myself, I killed the mobs instantly, which made the quest npc just stand still for ages. It's not bugged, you just need to wait, that's all.

While the phrase clearly didn't originate with Warcraft, the night elf archers in Warcraft III do say ""one shot, one kill"" when attacking.

Sentinel Aynasha actually plays that sound clip during this quest.

I never did this quest before, but after reading those comments, it's clear that they've sped it up quite a bit. I suggest, if you have a pet, you just toss him on aggressive and play on Wowhead for about 3 minutes, and then, poof, you win...

Now, two more quests for my Loremaster, then *I* win....

I was pleasantly surprised to find this quest still in 4.0.3a (The Shattering) while doing the new quests. It is completely unchanged, even the glitchy delay remains. She continues to stay in the small enclave near a big Blackwood furbolg camp, co-ords are 47.7, 88.9. She even says she will report to Auberdine still!
I wonder if Blizzard intentionally left this quest alone? ;)

I still cant find this broad. My laptop cant handle mods and I have no way of following coords. 'in the hills"" and 'near a big furblog camp"" is NOT enough information. Anyone else able to tell me where this gal is in plain simple terms?

To locate without coords; east of the word ""Masters"" on map the road forks heading south. Go directly east from crossroads towards mountains. Look for yellow !, she'll be in a small pass. Remember to turn on low level quest tracking if higher level.

Maybe someone can tell me what I am doing wrong. I have done 89/90 quests in darkshore. I am 100% sure I have not done this quest. I am standing right on top of the quest giver but she will not give me the quests. Any suggestions?

You pick this up at coordinates 47.7, 88.9. You are looking for Sentinel Aynasha. She is kind of hidden south in the hills behind the Blackwood village. (Easy quest to miss because there are no ""breadcrumb"" quests to get you here.)
