You must have purchased the Collector's Edition of the orginal World of Warcraft to have access to this quest which provides a free pet.

I personally like the Burning Crusade pet a whole lot better! ~> https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=25535#created-by Netherwhelp's Collar
You don't have a choice of picking one of three.

One of the hardest things to do in WOW is get every single ""Small Pet"" in the game...

As of 28. of September, 2008 it is commonly known that there indeed WILL be a Wrath of the Lich King collector's edition(which I myself happen to have pre-ordered :D)
It will contain a book of artwork from WotLK like every collector's edition before it, a soundtrack CD and Behind the Scenes DVD, again nothing new.
And yet another of Blizzard's stunning and creative surprises is even more WoW TCG cards. Oh the creativity.
It was creative in TBC, but now it seems like they are all out of ideas; yet another mousepad with a map on it..
What would truly have been awesome would've been a plastic ""ice glacier"" with the Northrend map on it. But I guess that is just dreaming. (To clear confusion: This is my suggestion alone, as far as I have read this has NEVER been discussed and never was the idea.)
Now, what I bet you are all waiting for in my flow of useless information: The new minipet shall be Frosty, the Baby Frostwyrm.
