Description

Now that you have gathered Bloodscalp trophies, I have another task for you. The Skullsplitter tribe of trolls live to the southeast, and for years we have warred with them. Although the Darkspears no longer dwell in Stranglethorn, we are bound to our conflict with the Skullsplitters.

So, hunt them. Gather their Split Bone Necklaces and return to me. Aid us in our war, and you will earn the friendship of the Darkspears.

Darkspear Boots

The Skullsplitters will curse the day they brought us to war! Is your task complete?

Completion

Get ready for a long grind. You'd best do this simultaneously with ""Speaking With Nezzliok"", to save you some time and trouble.

The quest items can be found from all Skullsplitter trolls, but the dropchances are quite low.

The trolls you want are at 42, 35 in Stranglethorn Vale, at the Ziata'jai Ruins, and at 45, 35 at the Balia'mah Ruins.

This is alot easier with 2 guys, just because of the 3 sets of 3 patrols that walk between the 3 areas .. you can also do one other quest thats in red @ 40. Speaking with Gan'zulah which is in the back part of these guys. I brought a 34 mage and it went pretty smooth even aggro'ing 2x3 patrols.

The whole Skullsplitter clan is located at about 44,34 (south of the Ogre Mound cave). Their about 39 - 41 mobs and the drop rate is pretty bad

I feel like I killed half the jungle troll population on Azeroth.
For lower levels trying this: watch out for a patrol of three ging up and down the hill around (44,38)

i soloed it as a 39 arms warrior i found the quest quite easy
