This quest is used as part of https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=8554 Facing Negolash. It's not technically part of the chain, but it's used to spawn a mob that's necessary for the other quest.

If you want to cook the Barbecued Buzzard Wings you need to recipe. You can get the recipe from a quest given by a goblin in the middle of the Badlands. It takes a qhile since you need to drop the wings (bad drop rate).

Is this quest still available as of 2.4? Does it have preqs? I've been at that boat and seen nothing at all.

Since this is a ""progress"" quest, or a ""quest inside a quest"", it will not show up completed in wowhead.
