Description

The Timbermaw tend to stay to themselves, <name>. While we do allow safe passage to those that have proven they can be trusted, we try to avoid other furbolg tribes if at all possible.

Lately I have noticed that the Winterfall tribe has become increasingly hostile towards us. They seem to be in a state of rage, completely engulfed by their own fear and hatred of anything they do not understand.

If you could reduce their numbers this would help us greatly, <name>.

This and Threat of Winterfall both ask for 8 Den Watchers, so you can get 2 for 1 here ..

As of 2.2, you need eight (8) each of the Shamans, Den Watchers, and Ursas. They're all mostly level 55-57, I easily soloed the place as a 54 Shaman.

you can find ursas at 65.6, 37.7 its on top of a hill, a bunch of them that are around 57-58.

Even though this quest is flagged as Alliance only on Wowhead, I was able to pick it up on my Horde character.

Note: This is not the Winterfall Activity quest currently in the game!

The comments above actually pertain to the https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=8464 new quest of the same name, which replaced this quest in patch 1.9. This was a repeatable quest which required fewer kills and rewarded less reputation. It is still possible to get this quest, if you find someone who has it. They can then group with you and share it, but there is no other way to get this repeatable, kill-count rep quest now.

At one point this shareability was a big deal, but with rep boosts since then, the rep from straight kills and from bead turnins make this a mostly useless quest to pursue.
