Be carefull, they are everywhere but most of the time invisible and they are close to each other, sometimes, or close to other monsters

I had a really hard time with this quest. 21 warrior, if Sharptalon (the level ?? Hippogryph) wouldn't kill me while I was fighting one, it would be 2 slimes. Watch carefully as to who is surrounding your targets.

them just south of splintertree post i soloed as a 22 undead rouge

From the quest giver, you can just go on the other side of the road to start finding them. Note: they are all invisible, so if you hear an odd noise when you you get too close. If you are at the right level, this is a fairly easy quest.

If you kill them near the Ally WSG entrance, watch out! the Silverwing Elite have a stealth detection with a range on 10 metres, and their bows damage me (lvl 22 BE rogue - 770 hp) for around 200 - 400 per hit, so beware! a place you are sure to find an Outrunner (unless someone killed it) is on the west side of the 3rd tree on the north side of the road from Splintertree post if you go west on the road...

easy and fun as a 22 subtlety rogue

Pain in the butts to find and even when you do find them the stupid sludges attack you as well......very annoying -.-

This blatant act of agression should not be tolerated by the Alliance. they should strike back with all due swiftness, and eradicate these invaders who dare to desecrate our forests... death to the warsong invaders! retake Ashenvale in the name of Darnassus!

in this quest u need to clear the wole map to find them thei are very weak thats why is hard to find they they are invisible so u will just see them when they are atacking u?

this 1 appeard alone in 76.2. 73.0and continues to appear alone...

not recomended to use piroblast without polimorph...

The best place to do this quest is in the Dor'Dannil Barrow Den area. It's across the road and a little north of Splintertree.

Some notes:

1. Watch out for the slimes. If you do fight them, be careful because you can aggro nearby hidden outrunners.

2. The forsaken in the camp will help you kill outrunners so you can kite them over if you need to. However, you will not get credit for mob originally tagged by one of the npc's.

3. WATCH OUT FOR SHARPTALON! I'm surprised nobody mentioned him. He's a level 31 elite that patrols the area. If you do aggro him, just run for the forsaken camp or the horde camp along side of the road, and they will fight him for you.

Right. The Horde is the aggressor here. Night Elves skulk about in the forest, attacking Horde patrols when they come by and gather intelligence about Horde positions, and now outrightly attack Splintertree Post, and when the Horde strikes back, they are the warmongering monsters? I don't think so.

You, sir, need to understand that the Horde, if left unchecked, will do to Kalimdor what they did to Draenor. What's right is that the Kaldorei sacrificed ALOT to keep their ancestral lands safe and uncorrupted, while orcish hypocrites ,who claim they are preaching peace BUT actually they deliver wars, just jump onto this planet and claim Ashenvale as their own? Let me ask you: if some blood thirsty demon spawns (who is still as blood thirsty even after being ""cured"" from demonic taint) invaded your homeland, slaughtered your villagers, your young and cut down massive amounts of trees NOT FOR SHELTER OR BUILDING ONLY but most of it was actually to enhance war efforts to slaughter more innocents, then they insisted to cut more, and claim the forest as their own, using demonic corruption supported by their hypocritical leadership. How do you think about them? innocent? seriously?

The Horde only knows violence, and Thrall never really had any control over the Horde, that's one of his own secret reasons of why did he actually leave the Horde leadership, and to a bloodthirsty, brainless Magh'ar, even.this makes no sense at all. the orcs even under garrosh (who is a warmonger unlike thrall) would never repeat what they did on draenor under the corruption of the legion. garrosh is actually far more opposed too fel magic then thrall ever was and would outright slay any horde member who would have used it. ( a quest in ashenvale supports this, but you and the npc get away with your life as you slay the demon who made it possible).

as for the warsong orcs cutting down an ancient night elf forest, i agree that they shouldnt have done this. but there isnt much usefull wood in durator and azshara is also not that densely forested and the NE also count that as their woods. so the horde doesnt have much options.

as for thrall leaving the horde. the reason you gave had nothing to do with it. the shattering had drastic effect on azeroth and his great shamanic strenght was needed in order too save the world. he wasnt able to do this and be leader of the horde at the same time. so he passed the title of warchief too garrosh. cause he was praised a war hero from northerend campaign agianst the scourge.

*fun fact: garrosh was thrall his second choice, he much rather had given the title too saurfang JR. who was more like thrall himself. but unfortanally he died at the wrath gate. so that option wasnt avaible anymore*
