It's a good idea to clear the area directly beneath Kinelroy (60,55) before you begin the escort quest, as two orcs will ambush her there.

I don't think you can die at this quest.Mean it's not possible when Kinelory heal you/her self, cast Bear form and he make somewhere like 80-90 damage.Quest is realy easy solo and will be much easy to kill the orks with her.

What to do if you fail:

Go to your questlog and abandon the quest. Quae will reappear where she was standing before and you can redo the quest!

I echo the remarks on this being easy. She's a Druid, and casts the appropriate level Druid Heal Over Time on you when you get hurt( Rejuvenation, around 304 damage over 12 seconds), and takes most of the aggro when things fight her, plus she's very tough, and most likely won't die. Very nice for an escort quest. If only all other escort quests were like this, with your escortee being so hard to die, and actually giving heals to YOU, instead of the reverse.

Ok, so I think this quest is now bugged.
Besides the fact that she vanished on me once, the forsaken bodyguards now respawn as soon as they're killed, so unless you are a much higher level and can kill them really fast, you won't be able to even get into the house.

Well, the quest started well and we were killing all the orchs without pain, peace of cake. Then the forsaken courrier spawned exactly at the same time. We got them all down (good!) but the courrier and her guards spawned AGAIN (bad!) and that made it. They really spawn right after you have killed them so if you see them spawning just give up and abandon the quest without trying if you're not a high lvl.

i did the part before this and then immediately ran up and started this part. everything was going just find until we get to the house with the courier and the bodyguards outside. we manage to take down all the body guards and courier and immediately they respawned again. by this time i was half health half mana (41 mage). we took down the body guards and guess what...they respawn AGAIN! i just turned tail and ran. ill take the above advice and do something else then come back to this.

Did it with a 32 Warlock. Used the Void to tank, I probably shouldn't have since she can tank pretty good, but who knows she might have died. The void died half way through, and you can't heal/restore mana/summon since she moves as soon as you kill one. The most I got on me was 4, hardly made it, but she heals well.

I found this very easy to complete on my 36 Shadow Priest. Kinelory is an awesome druid, changing to bear form and casting her HOTs when injured. She never casted on me, and I was taking quite a bit of hate. Luckily, she barely takes a scratch, as I died and came all the way back while she was still fighting orcs at full health!

This was the smoothest escort quest I've ever done. Only problem besides dying was the named mob that spawned inside the house (I wanna say like, 'Apothecary Julen' or something along those lines)... but he went down fast. :)

Did it by 32 holy priest, mostly heald myself, she did the last. The only problem was that i aggroed mobs much further than she did, so once i had to stand being attacked by 2 ogres 35 while she was killing another couple, but we did it)

Best Escort Quest Ever. Kinelory has an awesome AI as she heals you, herself and tanks in bear form. She's a HealBear!

Unfortunately, either it was bugged for me or this quest has become very hard, the Courier and her bodyguards now have an insanely short respawn timer and don't patrol anymore, they respawn immediately after you kill them making it very hard to complete.

Kinelory also had a fairly long respawn timer of 5-10 minutes.

THE BODYGUARDS AND COURIER RESPAWN TOO FAST TO COMPLETE THE QUEST

getting to the house is not hard, but once there, the respawn rate for the undead was about 60 seconds, no joke. i cant even count the number of waves i fought through hoping to complete the quest... i spent about 20 minutes inside that house before abandoning the damn thing.

even if you manage to kill all four bodyguards and the courier before any of them respawn, with how slow your escort walks youll inevtiably have to fight a new wave.

I don't see why people are finding this hard...Killed the courier just as she spawned outside the house (for the last part of the q), by stealthing in catform, killing her, running off till adds left combat, looting body and going back to questgiver. As I left, I saw the courier spawn again.

If people are finding her spawn a problem, why don't you wait until she's spawned and left before accepting the q? I managed this perfectly fine as a 39 druid, and she never got below 2/3 health. As with all escort q's, follow but don't aggro. Let her aggro what she will, which isn't much in her case :)

Very simple q.

My friend and I did this quest today. As mentioned above the courier and his guards were at the end house.

I'm not kidding when I say they are on a 10 second respawn timer. Hardly enough time to grab a bite and a drink. We must have fought 8 or 9 full respawns before Kinelroy managed to get far enough away for us not to aggro the respawns. We were also getting added mobs engaging us at the same time.

When I say that it was completely insane I'm not even slightly joking. However, the XP we got was superb and it was one of the most epic fights I've ever had, so in that respect it was made of glorious win.

Just don't try to do this one alone, don't say I didn't warn you because if that courier and his guards are at the end house you are toast!

This is a must do quest though and is now one of my favourites as we were simply 'WTF' the whole time at the end, we so thought we were going to die :)

Did this alone as a 42 arms warrior.

Funniest quest ive done in a while. 10 second respawn rate on the courier meant we went thought 8 or 9 sets of them before she finished whatever she was doing.

But at 42, the mobs are an easy kill and it was more fun than anything.

And, she can definitely hold her own plus she heals you! Bless her cotton socks :)

I, a lvl 33 mage soloed this quest.

I tried to get 2-3 mobs at a time, and using AoE spells killing them all at once. When you get out of mana, just use your want and let Kinelory tank.

Remember to drink whenever you have the chance, which is not that often.

Kinelory will also cast an occasional rejuvenation on you, so your hp should be fine even though you cant eat as much as you want to.

Good for a 34 discipline/holy priest too. Just keep your mana up, yourself shielded/healed and Kinelory renewed if you have to.

If you find yourself running low on mana and outnumbered, cast psychic scream to buy yourself some time and a drink.

ETA: Solo, I mean.

It's worth noting that this quest now seems to be FIXED, i.e. the Forsaken Courier & co. respawn and proceed on their route normally. No more stationary Courier + 10 second respawn timer!

I've done this on two toons recently, and in both cases the quest was working as intended. The Courier and his bodyguards were not a stationary respawn out front of the house, and Kinelory did not disappear at any point during the escort process.

I just completed the quest. The courier did not respawn in the house. However, I had given her time to get her and her bodyguards up the road so that may have helped.

I had no problems with Kinelory disappearing.

This is the easiest escort quest I've done so far. Kinelory could probably have done the who thing without me.

i came back to do this quest for some reputation. A level 49 shadow priest and with the immediate respawns of the forsaken i couldn't complete it. No honor meant no spirit tap, meant no mana rejuvenation. And my wand is pretty useless as I've been constantly questing with a partner. So i gave up, i think I must've killed about half a dozen sets of the forsakens, we made it out of the house but then she had all of them plus the farmers or whatever and i had to heal, by the time i got back to her, she had died i think, i dunno, but i failed. Might need some practice I spose, but this quest is terrible!

Easily solo'd as a level 34 holy pally, I just let her tank most of it in bear form, and I just chilled out in the background. Only part that I almost got raped at was before the house were you fight the warlock/undead thing, get ambushed by like 5 guys. Only hard because you've just been attacked by like 3 other mobs.

As of April 3, 2009 the respawn timer has not been fixed, i spent a good 10 minutes fighting the endless respawns of the courier and the bodyguard before giving up and dropping the quest.

By StephenDeken on 04/27/2009 (Patch 3.1.1)
I did this at level 40, and had the same problem with the endless courier respawns. Wasn't a problem in terms of being able to survive for me, but it was extremely annoying anyway. I finally realized that all of the mobs were initially aggroing on me instead of Kinelory, so I moved out of the house to fight them, and then just before downing the courier I ran a little farther away. I think it took two waves or so to get clear; Kinelory runs pretty fast once she's done, if she's not engaged in a fight.

So, to summarize:
 • This quest is a lot easier if you make sure the courier and bodyguards are away from the house before you start.
 • If you are fighting off constantly respawning couriers and bodyguards after Kinelory says she's done, start moving away from the house while you're fighting. You'll eventually get out of the aggro radius of the new spawns, or at least far enough away that Kinelory won't engage them.

Just confirmed that this quest is still bugged. I spent the last 30 min trying to complete this quest, but as soon as the courier is killed, she respawns with at least 1 or more bodyguards. Eventually I run out of mana and cannot continue to kill the endless respawns. Also, I confirmed that the courier did not leave to go on her run to Tarren Mill. I waited 15 minutes for the courier to leave and she did not.

The quest isn't actually bugged... There's a Plain Creeper that is bugged under the ground and Kinelory is constantly trying to kill it.
So she just eventually disappears cause she can't move without killing everything in sight... Sigh, such a good quest too, Blizzard please fix it!

Pretty easy quest, as kinelory has an imba ai. She heal you, and herself and she deals enough dmg in bearform... But when we got to the undead guy, and she pulled him, i was kinda Unlucky i got the undead guy plus 2 orcs and after that in the middle of the fight the patrolling guards and the courier spawned right outside. So i had to fight all of them. I managed to do so, cuz kinelory healed and tanked a bit. But when she searched for information the courier spawned again so i had to fight them again. I managed to get out before they spawned a 3rd time tho..

Fun quest, this and the courier kill quest before.

Solo'ed as Lvl 31 Rouge, first try.

Seems like the trick is to preempt pull when you can, otherwise let Kin tank any adds that come along. Several times I'd bandage, simply stall for cools this way. Even ran out of bandages and busted out a few while Kin did her thing! : P

This quest does no longer seem to be bugged. The enemies seem to respawn really fast here though so it's hard to clear a path for her before you start. Her aggro range is a lot smaller then yours unless your level 38 and she will only attack on target when a group is pulled.

This quest is almost impossible if the Forsaken Courier + Bodyguards are bugg respawning all the time. Me and Kinelory made it to the farm house, just to realise that a pack of undead where there. Ofcourse we killed them, but they just kept respawning and respawning. We made it into the house, took out the apothecary and killed a bunch of undead. When she made her ""break"" she ran into a pack of orcs, and the undead was not late to join. We almost killed everyone of them, as a rogue it was easy to one shot the undead with ambush. But then the orcs took her out, and the undead respawned and went after me. I Vanished, and ran away, sworn my life to be killing mean undead who don't know that they should not respawn on a 5 sec timer...

Anyway, we managed to kill more than 50 undead and some orcs (thanks to her HoT's) but this quest needs to be fixed.
