Travel to Gadgetzan in the Tanaris desert and speak with Dirge Quikcleave about advancing your cooking career.

Description

How you expect Zamja teach you anything? You got all of Zamja's cooking mojo and still you crave more!

Zamja can't help. Fat <race> needs to go to Gadgetzan. You find a little goblin named Dirge there - he help you, fatty.

When you become big cook on the block, you come back and teach Zamja, ok? Now go!

<Dirge spits out some leather sandal bits.>

Pfftooey...

<Dirge hacks loudly.>

What? I'll have you know that leather is surprisingly high in protein and low in carbohydrates.

Upon completion of quests, get:

After you have picked up this quest, on your way down to hand it in at Gadgetzan, fly to Thousand Needles and visit Innkeeper Abeqwa &lt;Innkeeper&gt; to pick up 20x Alterac Swiss as you will need them for the next quest.

Make sure that your cooking skill is up to 225 because anything lower and the quest will not appear for you or have any indicator when you visit Zamja.

I decided to go for my Bloodsail Admiral title before leveling my cooking, and found that the NPC is hostile and the quest is not completeable if you're on bad terms with Steamwheedle Cartel.

Worth noting that you can go straight to Dirge Quikcleave for https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=6610 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=6610 granted that you meet the minimum cooking and level requirement. Bread crumb quest.

Just a friendly reminder, especially if you're forgetful like me, if you are a bloodsail admiral you will be killed and you can't do the quest, so don't waste your time :(

You are offered this quest at about cooking level 275 (maybe level 250).

Before you leave for Gadgetzan, check that you have the 20 @ ""Fine Aged Chedar"" for the Clamette Surprise quest you'll receive. You can get that from the Inkeeper in the Valley of Wisdom.

The other items for Clamette are 10 @ Giant Eggs (from the level 45ish birds in Tanaris) and 10 @ Zesty Clam Meat (from Big Mouth Clams - easiest place is Azshara, from the level 12 to 17 Spritelash's, or the giants in the shallows of Tanaris)
