For every 10 pieces of Dark Iron Ore you offer, favor amongst the Brotherhood you will gain.

It may be cheaper depending on the server, to buy Lava Cores and Fiery cores instead because they reward 500 reputation each instead of 10 ore for 75.

I can confirm as of 11/28/2010, that each turn in of 10 dark iron ore will give you 300 rep instead of the old 75.
In addition.. fiery cores and lava cores now give 2000 rep per turn in; 1400 per core leather (2) turn in; ... blood of the mountain I have no clue.

The updated Thorium Brotherhood rep quests also took me from friendly to halfway through honored.. in about 45 minutes. I forgot to take note, but they were somewhere around 1 to 2k rep per quest as I recall.
