Description

A bounty has been placed on the head of Marez Cowl, a high-level advisor and operative of the Syndicate. She was last seen within the Syndicate controlled territory of Stromgarde.

Bounty may be collected from Captain Nials.

Be warned: Marez is a skilled and cunning Warlock, known for her trafficking with demons. Extreme caution is advised when hunting her.

Turn left when you enter Stromgarde and follow the road to the end. There's a house at the end of the road and Marez is behind the house. Don't do what I did and dash around the house right into her! O.o

And beware all the stealthies

There is more than one spawn point for Marez Cowl.

The initial posts here saying behind the last house on the first level are correct (29,62).

There is another spawn point for her behind the last house on the second level at 30,64. To get here, go up the main path to the fountain and head to the left. Follow the road all the way to the end and go BEHIND the house to the well... she's doing some funky stuff to the well there.

I spent about 10 minutes waiting for her to spawn with no luck at the first spot and then moved on to the second spot.

I've seen her spawn at 29,62 behind house and at 30,64. For me, most of the times that shes spawned at 29,62 shes had a Syndicate Prowler near her stealthed. Really annoying killed me the first time, easier to do with pet/player or if you can incapacitate the stealthed guy.

Killed with a dicipline priest lvl 34. She doesn't hit very much, just takes a long time if you have it for expending.

I found her by turning left on the first intersection behind the house by the table filled with blood.

To get to her, enter Stormgarde. Do NOT go up the steps, but instead take a left. At the end of the whole Syndicate-infested place, there will be a big, ruined house. Go around to the back of it and Marez is there, just summoning away.

Though she never summons anything and she doesn't cast spells as far as I'm concerned.

Not too bad as a level 35 ret paladin. Had to use one health potion and Divine Protection to last throughout the fight, but it was nonetheless pretty easy.

had my rogue sit at that first spawn point on the lower level too long - listening to the Warlock summoning noise (?). The continual noive coming from Level 2 - THAT was made by Marez. So listen for that &amp; if she's not below, it's one way to figured out where she is.

Just a little clarification. There are 2 spawn points as thejames and aiya point out. The first one is the very first left after you pass under the bridge. She's behind the house around a butcher's table. The second one is up the ramp and left by the fountain, then all the way to the back. The locations are actually next to each other, separated by a stone wall. I went to the wrong location first. I wasn't able to find a way to scale the wall and had go back out to get to the right place.

Nice little advice for this one, since this guy spawns at two points.
Group up with a player who needs the quest too, and each go to one of the two spawning points. (so you standing at location A and your group fellow at B). First who sees it, kills it, and both get the quest-item! Very fast and smooth.

after killling all the mobs i decided to die on purpose right through to near where this wanted nps was and then killed her and used heartstone and handed in quest - hate that place :/
